I walk into my sisters room with tears in my eyes. Why did she have to leave me? I slowly climb in her bed take in her amazing scent. I plop my head down on her pillow, when I feel my head crash on something hard.
I take my arm and move it under the pillow, I grasp the object then I pull it out. I quickly take a glance at it only to realize it was Lavender's diary. I open it up and see pages and pages full of words and tears. I know it's not right to invade people's privacy, but I needed to know why.

I have decided instead of writing "dear diary" like any classic, I instead I'm going to write to my beautiful little sister Jade. So, here it goes.
Dear Jade,
Today was my first day back at school, or as I like to call it hell. As soon as I walked in, Bella Anderson just had to be waiting for me. She called me "ugly, fat and stupid," but those weren't even the worst of it. Jade, your life must be so easy. You're lucky Mom and Dad don't beat you. Everyone hates me. I just want to curl up in a ball and go away.
Today even wasn't even the worst of it, yesterday was. Dad started hitting me again, because I came home two minutes late! TWO DAMN MINUTES LATE!! Pardon my language Jade, you should have to hear about my stupid life. When dad started beating me to death last night, I remember your scared face when you woke up from all the screaming. A ten year old girl shouldn't have to go through this. Dad just told you I got attacked by a dog and he was just trying to help. When mom got home from her long hours of drinking, she bursted into my room and starting beating me even more.
Today I could barely get out of bed and I woke up in a pool of blood. I bet mom doesn't even care about me anymore, she probably wants me to die too. I have no friends, no real family. All I have is you Jade. Stupid Bella took away all my friends! And moms to drunk and high to notice what pain is happening to this family! I wish that all this pain would just go away!
I think my life should just end.
