Peace At Last

Lavender was gone. She's gone. She left me here now I'm stuck living with these two morons. I called the cops two minutes ago and their coming. I can save the day.

I hear a faint siren outside and I rush to the front door.

"Hello dear. We received a call earlier about abuse. Is that correct?" An officer asks me.

"Yes it is," I reply. The officer walks in and I see my parents come to the door.

"Are these them? The ones who have hurt you?" He asks.

"Yes," I say. but I know he probably want proof.

"Well, I'm sorry little girl. But, if you don't have proof I'm afraid I can't arrest them," He says walking away. Dad smirks at me. But, then it hit me.

"Wait! I have proof, my sisters diary!" I yell at the officer. He comes back in and I go get the diary.

"Thank so much for this," The officer says as he hands it back.

"You two are under arrest," He says as he handcuffs Mom and Dad.

"You will pay for this you little bitch!!" Dad screams at me. Mom just stays quiet as an officer walks them out.

"Miss? Do you have any relatives that I could place you with?" the officer asks me.

"Well no, but I have a great friend who I could possibly stay with," I say.

"Well, I guess you could stay with them, if it's alright with them," The officer smiles and I go in for a hug.

He calls Noah's Mom asking if she could take care of me, now I'm just waiting for the news. I think about what it's gonna be like not having Lavender around. I going to miss her a lot.

"Well, she said you could stay with them," The officer tells me. I smile and then the officer tells me we leave tomorrow.
