I woke up and the pain was gone. It was like magic! I was in a office room and I got off the cot that was pushed in here. I looked in a long mirror and I saw my face and gasped. It had been a long time since my face wasn't coverd in bruses. I had long blond-white hair, red eyes the sparkeld like rubys, pale skin, and full pink lips. Right after I looked at my self in the mirro an old man walked in. He was in robes and had long white hair, a long white beard, and rinkley skin. You'd think that would be wierd but he looked strong and kind. I sat down on a chair in front of his desk. "Hello Scarlet, I am Albus Dumboldore. I am headmaster of this school. Its called Hogwarts. School of witchcraft and wizardrey." He said the last part slowly. "Why am I here?" I asked him. Usually I wouldn't beleive some one if they told me this but he looked dead seriouse. "You are a witch Scarlet." He told me. "Your seriouse?" I asked him. I had to. "Like a heart attack." He replied and I couldn't help but smile. "Okay so what now?'' i Asked him. "I will take you to Hagrid. He is games keeper and a giant." He said.
When Dumboldor said he was a giant he wasn't joking. I thought he ment he was really tall like 6 feet but I was wrong, he was much taller. I took the surprised look off my face. Everyone had been so nice to me, except the ferret boy, and I didn't want to affend. "Ello Scarlet." he boomed in a loud voice. "Hello Hagrid." I replied with a smile. "Hagrid can you take Scarlet to town and pick up the necisary suplise?" he asked Hagrid. "Of course Albuse." Hagrid said and they said their goodbyes and the headmaster left. Okay Scarlet I don't want to travel a lot so were going to go by floo powder." Hagrid told me in a friendly tone. "Whats floo powder?" I asked him. "I'll show you." He said and usherd me to a fire place. Three was a flower pot conected to the fire place with powder in it. " Here take a fist full of powder and stand in the fire place." He instructed me. I did so kind of awkwardly, and waited for more instructions. "Now in a firm and lound voice say Diagone Alley and throw thw powder on the ground. I'll be right behind you." he told me. I did so and was wooshed up the fire place and threw some kind of black tube. I landed on my feet in another fire place and rememberd what Hagrid said. I'll be right behind you. I ran out and got out of the way just intime to see Hagrid shoot out. "Okay now we have to get you a wand." he said and I got excited. A magic wand!
We walked out of the shop with no name and down an alley. We walked for a while until we got to a crowded town square. We walked over to a place called Olivanders and walked in. "Scarlet you pick out a wand Oliver will help you, I will be next door." Hagrid told me. "Okay Hagrid." I said and he handed me a small pouch of coines. A shadow of a man came from the back and emerged a man with white hair and eyes that seemed to peer into your soul. "Um hello I'm Scarlet I need to pick out a wand." I said in a poliet voice. "Oh yes your a new witch yes?" he asked like he already knew. "How did you know?" I asked suprised. "I remember every wand I have ever sold a long with the witch and wizard due to a wonky memory charm." He said in his scraggaly voice. "Like a photographic memory?" I asked him. His eyes litup. "Yes exactly. Couldn't have said it better myself." he said. "Now lets see." he said looking over the meny boxes. They resembeld shoe boxes but thinner and brown. "Hmmm. Here we are." he said grabing a box after sizing me up. He handed my an ordenary wand. "The core is Dragon Heart Strings, the wood is called vine wood." He told me. It felt right in my hand and I got the instinct to wave it. I did so toward a flower pot that was just buds and it grew into daisy's. "Oh marzoluse!" he said. I paid him ten copper pieces and sat on a chair. "Scarlet over here." Hagrid called to me. I walked out with my wand and handed him back his money. He then held out to me a kitten. "Oh my god! He is so cute." I said and he gave it to me. "I'll name you Night Shade." I said
