It's a beautiful sunny day in Elementia. The sun rays warm up everyone who's working and also everyone standing outside of the palace waiting for the announcement of the heiress's birth.

It was announced in the morning that Queen Nami had gone into labor and everyone's expectant to see what the heiress will be like. King Soky is the most nervous out of everyone, except Queen Nami herself, since this is the first time she's giving birth.

King Soky hopes his daughter is born with white hair, because it will assure him that she's capable of controlling an element. If she's born with a different colored hair it's a very bad sign and if she's born with no hair he will have to wait until it starts to grow.

In Elementia, everyone capable of controlling the elements is born with white hair and it changes color once the person's power develop. Everything's very color coordinated in Elementia and people's hair is the complementary color of the color of their element. People who control fire have blue hair, people who control earth have red hair, people who control water have orange hair and people who control the air have purple hair. Whoever's born with colored hair will never be able of controlling an element, even if their hair is blue, red, orange or purple.

King Soky looks out of one of the throne room's windows and sees hundreds of people on the outside, waiting just like him. There are people from all different social classes, together because of this special moment. The social classes in Elementia are organized according to how powerful people are. The most powerful will be located in the high classes and the least powerful in the low classes. The people who don't have powers are the lowest possible class. When someone turns eighteen years old they undergo a test to see how powerful they are and will be moved into their new class, very frequently away from their family. That doesn't mean they can't see their family anymore, because everyone's able to visit people from other classes, they just won't live with them.

Time is going by and King Soky is getting more and more impatient. He starts walking back and forth without even realizing it.

"Your Highness, you don't need to worry. I'm sure everything's going to be alright." One of the King's advisers says. "Your daughter will be just perfect."

"You can't know that." King Soky says. "What if she's not? What if the King's daughter isn't good enough? What if she's not even able to control an element?"

"Why wouldn't she be? She's the daughter of two incredibly powerful people."

"You know that's not how things work many times. What if when she turns eighteen she needs to go live in the lowest class? That can't happen."

"And it won't, Your Highness."

King Soky keeps nervously walking around the throne room while his adviser tries to calm him down.

An hour goes by and the King's nervousness increases.

"I can't handle this wait anymore." He says. "I'm going in there to see what's going on."

"You can't, Your Highness. You're not allowed to go in there."

"I'm the King, I'm allowed to do whatever I want. Who's going to stop me?"

"No one's going to stop you, Your Highness, but, as your adviser, I strongly advise you to stay here. Going there will only upset the Queen and the doctors."

"And staying here is upsetting me. I'm sure Nami will be happy to see me there."

The adviser disagrees but he knows he can't stop the King from going in the room where his wife is giving birth to the Princess, so he doesn't say anything else.

King Soky starts walking in the direction of the room where Queen Nami is and meets the doctor halfway.

"Your Highness, I was going to go get you." The doctor tells him.

"Has she been born yet?"

"Yes, that's why I was going to get you."

"How is she?"

"Come see for yourself."

The doctor takes King Soky to the room where Queen Nami and the Princess are. He enters and sees his wife holding the baby girl. She's wrapped in a blanket so he can't see her face or hair. King Soky gets closer to his family and Queen Nami smiles as she shows him his daughter's face.

The Princess is a very beautiful and healthy baby. She has big brown eyes that are staring at King Soky. He touches her face and moves the blanket away from her head. He looks at it and sees the much desired white hair.

"She's perfect." Queen Nami says.

"Yes, she is." The King agrees.

Queen Nami and her daughter are taken away by a few servants to get ready for the announcement. The Queen's hair is orange and she puts on a beautiful long baby blue dress. She controls the water and is always attracted to blue things. The Princess is dressed in white to match her colorless hair.

The Royal Family gathers at the throne room and they get ready to announce that the Princess is born.

King Soky moves his arms in front of the curtains, opening them and repeats the process with the glass doors that lead to the main balcony of the palace. The three of them walk into the balcony, followed by two of the King's advisers and the doctor responsible for the Princess's birth.

When the people on the outside see the Royal Family walking into the balcony with the Princess in Queen Nami's arms they all start cheering.

King Soky signals for people to be quiet and everyone stops cheering in that exact moment.

"Good afternoon, Elementia." King Soky says. "We're all very tired so I'm going to make this quick. The Princess was born half an hour ago and she's a very healthy and beautiful little girl. Her hair is pure white and, hopefully, she will be as powerful as her parents and will make a good Queen one day."

Queen Nami turns the Princess around so that her face is turned towards the crowd, making the people start cheering again.

When people start calming down again, King Soky talks continues to talk.

"Last but certainly not least, I want everyone to know the Princess's name." The King takes the baby in his arms. "Everyone, this is Serena."

"Long live Princess Serena!" The people on the outside of the palace start exclaiming. "Long live Princess Serena!"
