People with orange hair start running towards the fire and people with blue hair follow them. The people who control water start shooting it in the fire's direction and the people who control fire start absorbing it.
In a couple minutes the fire is extinguished and no one got hurt.
King Soky apologizes for the fire Serena created and the Royal Family enters the palace while the people on the outside go to their houses.
"You can't light a candle but you can create a big fire outside the palace?" King Soky asks Serena with an angry tone.
"I'm sorry." She says. "I didn't try to do that, it just happened."
"You were just supposed to light a candle."
"I know..."
"And you couldn't do that."
"Soky, that's enough." Queen Nami tells her husband. "We should have given her more time to practice. It's our fault."
"It's not our fault." The King says and leaves the room.
Queen Nami gets closer to Serena and cradles her daughter's head in her hands.
"It's okay, baby." The Queen says. "It wasn't you fault."
"I really didn't mean to do that." Serena tells her mother.
"I know."
"And I lit a candle when I was practicing."
"I also know that. That's why we thought you were ready for this, but you weren't. And that was our fault." She kisses Serena's forehead and then hugs her. "It's okay."
It's been a year since Serena's incident and she's been practicing every day. Even though she has gotten a lot better, she still doesn't feel ready to use her powers in front of people. She's afraid that she will get nervous again and won't be able to do anything or that she'll lose control and hurt someone.
She continues to leave the palace with Kiana to go the Earth Training Ground every week, but now her parents know about it. They don't love the idea, but she was able to convince them that being trapped in the palace the whole time wasn't good for her.
"We could go to the Fire Training Ground one of these days, right?" Nolyn asks Serena, while reviving a dead tree. "So you can show me what you can do with the fire."
"I don't think that's a good idea." She tells him.
"Why not?"
"Because I don't like to practice in front of people."
"But fire is so cool. I want to see you creating it."
"Then maybe you can come to the palace one day."
Kiana, who was taking care of her own tree, walks in the kids' direction. She knows the King and the Queen wouldn't think bringing Nolyn into the palace was a good idea.
"Serena, I'm not sure your parents would like that." Kiana tells her.
"Yeah, you might be right..." Serena says sadly, but then she smiles. "What if it's during your ceremony?"
"My ceremony?"
"Yes. You're turning eighteen next week and you're going to have a ceremony, right? To know which class you'll belong to."
"Yes."
"Well, if it's your ceremony, you can invite people, right?"
"Are you trying to get me in trouble again, Serena?"
