quick note- I'm rewatching the playthrough that Michaela Laws did for Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 and 3. I've been pausing constantly to record the story elements, I'm not kidding. I kinda imagine Chrissy being like another Sora, most of the same things happen to both of them. It's like, if Chrissy was in the game she would be the female option, but Sora's also there. Like the Pokemon X & Y games, where the other gender trainer is the rival character but not a rival- do you see where I'm going?

[Chrissy's P.o.V]

The next day when we all went to the islands, we finished up the raft. Sora and Riku had a little disagreement about what to name the raft. they raced, but Riku won. and the raft was named Highwind. Later we were getting provisions for our trip. The fish were easy to grab, but the coconuts were hard. I barely dodged getting hit by a few while trying to knock the fresh ones down. I went looking for some mushrooms and found this small cave by the tree in the middle of the island. When I walked in, I saw that the walls were covered in drawings. I then noticed that Sora was here looking at all of them too. "Sora?" I called out to him. Surprised, he turned around. "what is this place? who drew all of these?" I asked him questions while looking at the drawings that covered the walls. "well, um, me, Riku and Kairi drew them." Sora scratched his neck, seeming a little embarrassed. The two of us laughed a little bit until we saw this dark hooded figure.

"wh-Who's there?" Sora said, surprised. I was startled too. "I've come to see the door to this world" the figure grumbled out. "Huh?" I questioned 'door? world?' I thought to myself. the cloaked figure spoke again, "this world has been connected". "what are you talking about?" Sora asked it. "tied to the darkness, soon to be completely eclipsed" it spoke again. 'darkness? like what King Mickey talked about sometimes?' I rummaged through my memories of the king. I knew that this meant trouble, but I had no idea about what this, thing, was talking about. "Well, whoever you are, stop freaking us out like this," Sora said that defensively. "Wait, where did you come from?" I asked it, realizing that I would've noticed it earlier if it came in the same way we did. "you do not yet know what lies beyond the door." it grumbled out again. "so you're from another world!" Sora spoke, astonished. "there is so very much to learn. you understand so little." 'wait did it just call me dumb?' i thought to myself, kind of offended. "oh, yeah? well, you'll see. we're gonna get out and learn what's out there!" Sora yelled at it and I nodded in agreement. "A meaningless effort." the voice spoke in a monotone voice, "one that knows nothing can understand nothing." I wanted to go out on a rant but then decided that I probably shouldn't. right then, the figured disappeared and I gasped, causing Sora to look back.

"where did it go?" I voiced my panic, "and how did it get here?". I knew that the door didn't have a knob or anything, it was right next to me, how could I not? "I don't know, but I got all my stuff, did you get yours?" Sora asked me. "most of it." I replied, "but I'm short one mushroom. I think we'll be fine without it though." the two of us walked out of the cave and returned to Kairi. she showed us the good luck charm she was making. I was starting to get nervous, we were setting sail tomorrow. I was starting to regret not telling them the real way to get to other worlds. I got really worried, what if we got into a storm and drowned? What if we ran out of food? I started thinking about all the things that could go wrong. Was it too late to tell them? It was probably too late.

[third PoV]

Donald,
Sorry to rush off without sayin' goodbye, but there's big trouble brewin'.
Not sure why, but the stars have been blinkin' out, one by one. And that means disaster can't be far behind. I hate to leave you all but I've gotta go check into it.
 There's someone with a "Key"—the Key to our survival. So I need you and Goofy to find him and stick with him. Got it? We need that key or we're doomed! So go to Traverse Town and find Leon. He'll point you in the right direction.
P.S. Would ya apologize to Minnie for me? Thanks, pal.
