Chapter 29 ★ Halloween Party

"Are seriously want me to wear this costume at the part?" Bungad ko kay James as soon as he answered his phone. Dumating na kasi yung pinadala nyang costume para sa Halloween party ng company nila.

"Hello to you too angel," I heard him chuckle. Well hindi uso ang Hello sa aking ganitong I'm starting to freak out about that party! Dapat talaga hindi ako pumayag! I don't know why pero kinakabahan ako!

"I'm asking you a question James!" I'm really freaking out baka wala ako masuot mamaya because I'm definitely not gonna wear this thing!

" What's wrong with that? That costume suits you perfectly Angel," I can hint an amusement in his voice but I'm not sure if he really is serious about this.

"We're going to a Halloween party! Holloween Party not just an ordinary Costume Party! Be serious!" waaaaa maloloka ako sakanya puro kalokohan na naman.

Do you want to know what kind of costume he got for me?

He got me a freakin Angel costume! An Angel Costume! A simple but elegant white dress yung katulad ng mga suot ng mga goddess and a pair wings! This is not even appropriate for a Halloween party! That’s all I know! So I  definitely not gonna wear that!

"I will not wear this James, you hear me? Hindi ko to isusuot! Ayaw ko mag mukha tanga sa party na yun! It's either you got me another costume or I'm not going!" after I said that I ended the call. Naiinis kasi ako hindi na sya nag sasalita at puro impit na tawa nya nalang ang naririnig ko. May nakakatawa ba sa sinabi ko? Here I am freakin out and he find it amusing? Arrgh! Bahala sya!

Binaba ko sa ibaba ng kama ang box ng costume at pabagsak na humiga sa kama ko. Now i have to think of a way kung saan ako makakakuha ng ibang costume. Even though i told him na hindi ako pupunta I'm 100% sure na pupunta pa rin ako. My friends will definitely drag me out of my house. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.

Now what? Think Jessie... think!

Hindi ko namalayan na katulog pala ako kakaisip para sa costume na pwede kong masuot. Nagising nalang ako dahil may kumatok sa pinto dito sa kwarto ko. For sure si manang yan, tumayo ako with my eyes still half open para buksan ang pinto. Who I saw behind the door make my eyes wide open, at bumalik ang kabang nararamdaman ko kanina.

"What are you doing here?" gulat na tanong ko pagbukas na pagbukas ko ng pinto. Sh*t anong oras na ba? Oras naba para sunduin nya ko?

James is standing in front of my door... in front of me with his handsomeness. He's wearing a black taux and a red bow tie. Bagay na bagay sakanya ang suot nya ngayon lalo syang gumwapo. His hair is a bit messy and he's smiling at me. Yung dimples nya lumalabas na naman!

"Well didn't I tell na susunduin kita?" he said pouting a bit. Why did have to act so cute?!

"Anong oras na ba? Is it time already?" bumalik na talaga yung kaba na nararamdaman ko kanina. Im starting to panic again. Wala pa kong costume!! I walk back in my room and start to pace back and forth.

"O MY GOD! Wala pa kong costume! Di pa ko naka pag-prepare! Hindi ko napansin naka tulog pala ako kanina after I talked to you!" I said while phasing. Nagulat nalang ako ng hinawakan ni James ang mag kabilang balikat ko to force me stop and look at him.

"Calm down will you? I'm an hour early so you still have time to fix your self," pag papakalma nya sa akin at ngumiti. Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag sa sinabi nya. But then I remember....
