Y/n grew up with a quirk that wasn't that good. She was in class 1-C, she knew that she wouldn't get into the Hero Course. Ever since Middle school she kept her hair short. As in short, I mean short like a boy's hair. Long hair hasn't been her favor...
This week was finally the week I was waiting for. Exam week. My exams were on Monday and Tuesday. Today, Wednesday, Aizawa wanted me to be at Gym Gamma for my sparring match. My thoughts on who I had to spar against was a teacher. A teacher would be the best way to challenge me to do my best. Even if it isn't a teacher, I would still do my best. I'll do whatever I can to get into the hero course.
Walking up to Gym Gamma, I felt a bit nervous. What if I don't pass? Hitoshi has a better chance to pass this, but his is only by if Aizawa thinks he's ready for this!
Once I did get into the gym, I didn't see Aizawa in there. While I was waiting for him to get to the gym, I walked around. It didn't take that long for me to hear the gym doors open. I looked towards the doors to see Aizawa. Walking back to the front of the gym, waiting to see what Aizawa was going to say and who I was going to spar against.
"You got here early" Aizawa said.
"Well, I didn't want to be late as well..." I told him. I started to think of something, which got me to ask this next question. "Aizawa, am I having to go against you?"
"No, you won't be going against me. Your opponent is on their way here" Aizawa walked past me and towards the middle of the gym. "Before your opponent gets here, let me show you where your electrical current things are leading to. We changed it up, so you have to move around the things that we set up. A hero's job is never that easy, that they know where everything leads to. No hero has a straight path that won't be blocked. We always need to find a way around something that's in our way or go through a different route that we never went through ourselves. I have chosen that one for you to deal with"
He walked with me around the gym and pointed out where each one was and finished off saying that each of them are plugged in, in different outlets. So if I go through one there's only one other that I could go to. I don't need to think of the spots. He even said that some are connected to the lights up above so if I want to, I can use the spots above the lights and below the ceiling to my advantage.
The doors to the gym open once again and both me and Aizawa looked towards the door. Someone walked inside, and who it was got me pissed. Eijiro Kirishima. Kirishima walked into the gym like it was nothing.
I looked at Aizawa and spoke up. "Why is he here, Aizawa?"
"You two will be sparring against each other today. We have brought it up, and all of the teachers agreed to have Kirishima fight you, Shinso. Now, I'll give you both time to think of a strategy to win against each other" Aizawa turned towards me once Kirishima started to think of an idea. "Shinso, follow me" He started to walk towards the other side of the gym and I followed. He picked up a bag and opened it up. Inside was two katanas. He threw the two katanas towards me. I caught them and started to inspect them.

They looked like your typical normal-looking katanas. Nothing special about them. "Katanas? Why do I need these and not my personal weapons?" I asked him. "And I've told you before to call me Y/n"
