The Sisters

Part 2

Rose's POV
Hello readers, my name is Rose Vest and we are The Sisters, a group of highly trained women working under the U.S government to take on bad guys and stuff. While we are heading towards our base in the chopper, let me introduce my teammates to you all.
The one who is on the pilot seat is Eve Pines, a soldier and a widow who lost her husband, also a soldier, on the battlefield. She at first wanted to leave fighting and live a normal life, but in the end my husband negotiated with her and eventually got her in the team. She keeps playing music every now and then, mostly to forget her past and also to enjoy any battle she faced. And trust me, she knows the right song to play, anytime, anyday.
The other one on the co-pilot seat is Jessica Jones, a cranky ex-cop who though was an awesome inventor in the police force got fired for making her clothes a little bit sexy. I'm sure you know what I mean about that. Anyway she went to a bar only to get drunk and start babbling that she was a damn fighter and could prove it. Indeed she proved it, for by the time ten men decided to shut her up, she beat the hell out of them. Coincidentally my husband was there and managed to get her in the team.
The one sitting beside me in the cabin, on my right side is Chi, a Japanese woman who divorced her husband due to the fact that he was a notorious drug lord in Shanghai. After all attempts to get her back was futile, he got mad, killed all her family members and also tried to kill her too. Somehow she survived, learned how to fight and kill from God knows where, and revenged her family's death. Somehow she and my husband knew eachother from somewhere, and after they met she was brought into the team.
The one on my right is Susan Flame. Her history will make you want to puke. She got sold into slavery by her step daddy and worked as a sex worker in New York. Her owner, a fat white asshole who always raped and abused her will always say that she was a slay queen, due to her beautiful body and attractive curves. Unfortunately for him, that got into her head and indeed she proved that she was a slay queen by slitting her owner's throat and killing off all her tormentors. She soon started targeting men and eliminated them due to her strong belief that men are wicked and deserve to die. To cut a long story short she got arrested, imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital and that was where I got her into our team. Don't ask me how. At first it wasn't easy for her, since my husband was our leader and on many occasions she tried to kill him, but now she has come to accept that not all men are bad. Still she hates them.
And finally, me, Rose Vest, a special agent and the leader of The Sisters who is married to David Vest, once a soldier but now an important official in the White House. We have been married for the last six years and now have three kids, two of which are females. We are the founders of this team, and I'm proud to say it wasn't a mistake. So now we are approaching our base, and I'm sure you are gonna love it.
Leaving POV
The chopper finally landed in an unknown location, landing in front of a rectangular building which had the resemblance of a warehouse. Only difference was that it's walls were of bulletproof glass. Outside the building were other vehicles of different types and sizes and behind the base were lots of machanical parts, mostly junks.
As the ladies came out of the chopper, the base's large doors slid open and out came a man having a long black hair, dressed in a blue suit and wearing black shoes.
" Welcome back love", said the man as he reached Rose and the others.
" Mission accomplished David", Rose replied and hugged him. They both smiled in their embrace, while the other ladies stood and watched them.
" Good job girls", commented David as he turned to face the others," You have done a good job today by catching those bad guys".
" Yeah yeah yeah", said Susan who bypassed them and walked towards the base," I'm hungry".
David looked at her and sighed." Oh well, let eat then", he said and led the way towards the base.

In the base, Eve was making pasta for the team. She stayed in the kitchen, playing the song," Seventeen", and dancing to the lyrics. Susan stayed at another section of the room and was busy sharpening her swords using a sharpening machine while Jessica and Chi were working on Chi's sniper rifle at a corner of the base, which was visible to the kitchen.
" Here we go", said Jessica as she raised her head up from the weapon and removed her gloves," Done the improvement on the rifle. Added a laser sight to the rifle to increase your accuracy, x-ray vision to see through buildings and also lot of bullet modifications".
While she talked, Chi took the weapon and examined it. Immediately Jessica was done talking, she aimed the rifle at where Eve was cooking and fired one bullet. The next thing heard was a scream and yell from Eve and a laugh from Jessica.
" Chi!!!", yelled an enraged Eve who came out wearing a white apron and carrying a butcher knife on her righthand." You nearly shot me there!", she added with an angry expression on her face.
" You know I never miss a shot Eve," said a calm Chi as she turned to drop the weapon on the table," So I will never shoot you dear. I just shot the kitchen shelf above you, that's all", she added as she began to put some bullets inside their respective ammo.
" Yeah well not everyone likes to hear bullet shots close to them y'all know," Eve replied with annoyance while she went back inside." And it ain't funny Jessica", she added due to the fact that Jessica was still laughing.
" You should have seen the look on her face Susan", said a laughing Jessica who was finally regaining herself.
" Yeah I saw it", repiled Susan who raised one of her swords and examined it," And i must say you got scared like a man would".
" Still not forgiven 'em?", asked Jessica.
" Never, never will", replied Susan in a cold tone which made the others look in her direction.

" She still hates me Rose", said David as he sat on a king sized bed and looked at a large screen on the wall. He and Rose were in their room, which aside from the bed and screen had a wooden cupboard on his left, a small square table beside his bed which had a photo of his family, a medium sized circular glass table which housed a glass cup of water and a folded screen where Rose stood behind to change her clothes. He could see the shadowy shape of her body as she pulled off her clothes to wear another one.
" I'm sure she will come around", she replied while changing her clothes," You know it ain't easy to help someone forgive those who have hurt him or her in the past".
" I know I know", he replied and stood up," But what can I do? I've tried everything to make her stop believing in that stereotype, but it looks like it's fruitless".
" You've tried?", she said as she peaked out of the screen and looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
" Okay we have tried", he said and sighed.
She smiled and came out of the screen wearing a black sweatshirt with black leather leggings. She sat beside him and kissed him on the cheek, which made him smile." Just give her time David", she said as she played with his long hair," She'll change for the better".
He smiled and kissed her on the forehead." That's why I love you".
" Same here dear", she repiled as she looked into his eyes.
For that moment, they would have kissed and then perform biology had it not been for Eve who announced through the speaker: Food is really people!!!
" Looks like it's time to eat", said Rose as she got up and went out of the room through an iron door.
" Yeah...", repiled a disappointed David who followed suit.
