The Proposal

I paced around the living room nervously

It had been almost a whole months since I told carl what I wanted to do for bright's birthday and today was the day that was happening

"Bro, calm down, I'm positive she's gonna say yes," Jack says, coming up to me

"Alright, but what if your wrong or, what if something goes wrong and she-"

"You Daniel, chill" Zach laughs

My family flew out to LA so they could see me propose

Bright was getting ready with the boy's girls because she thought we were going to a firework show

Well, we are but, you get the point

"Is it time? Are we ready?" I ask as everyone enters the room

Everyone nods and we head out and pile into our cars

We make it to the beach, the sunset looked perfect already

We all got out of the cars and from the distance, I saw my beautiful girlfriend and the other girls

I smiled getting really excited

"Daniel, good luck," Carl says coming up to me

"Thanks, buddy"

Anna and Tyler come up to me with big smiles

"I'm so excited!" Anna says jumping up

I laugh softly

"Come on, let's get going!" Tyler says

We all walk down to where the girls were settled with big smiles on our faces

I sat next to Bright and she turns to me

"Dani!" She screams, hugging me
"Hello princess"

Everyone sat around us and we looked up at the sky, waiting for the fireworks

I wrapped my arms around Bright and kissed her cheek softly

Then there was a big booming sound in the sky followed by many others

Soon, the sky was filled with beautiful colors and different shapes

Everyone looked at me, nodding slightly

Bright's POV

Daniel got up and tapped my shoulder
I turned and stood

"What's wrong?" I ask
He sighs and focuses on me

"Bright Venami, how do I start.. You are literally a dream come true, your beautiful, your talented, your smart, your funny, your everything I could ask for, when I first saw you I was mind blown, I didn't know such beauty could exist until I met you, you may have had some hatred towards us but that's in the past now and it doesn't matter anymore, I'm happy to call you mine and to see you every morning and know that I make you happy and that I can kiss you whenever I want, you've brought light to my world, you made me see things that I couldn't see before, you make me happy on my worst days, I'm thankful I have you and I will always be thankful, I love you so much, princess and I just need to know this one question" he says dropping down to one knee and grabbing a ring

"Oh my God" was all I said

"Will you, Bright Rose Venami, make me happier than ever and Marry me?" He asks

Tears start falling out of my eyes uncontrollably

"Yes, yes, I will marry you, Daniel!" I say

Everyone starts cheering and clapping

He puts the ring on my finger and stands, giving me the biggest and most passionate kiss of all time

As we pull away and hug him tightly, crying into his shoulder

"Don't cry, baby"
"I love you, Daniel, so much" I cry

"I love you too Bright, Forever and always"
