She hadn't preferred this out come.
Aelentiya assured herself of that as she roamed Stephens house on the edge of the beach.
A little tempting, maybe.
A gamble, definitely.
She'd made it this far in the tour, so what was two more months?
But damn if this is what he considered a one man home, what would a family home look like to him?
His house looked like a shiny new 2000 century mansion. Kept to immaculate standards, not one piece of decor nor furniture out of place.
Almost every room had a clear glassed wall, almost invisible to the naked eye, and so far she'd spotted nine.
He must have cleaners over often, considering the circumstances. Spotless.
Not even a single spec of dust. Impressive for a male.
Then again Stephens whole carrier relied on perfection. It's practically mandatory for him to own a beautiful home.
The backyard didn't even faze her, she realised.
Why wouldn't a house like this have a pool?
But what did catch her attention were the two boats, parked just off the edge of the yard.
Floating quietly above clouded murky salted water, one twice the size of the other.
Did Stephen really own both boats?
She moved towards the smaller one, imagined how it'd feel to ride in it, drift helplessly but peacefully further and further away from land.
If only she had her own. She'd spend most of her free time sketching the shoreline before the green of the earth, from a distance that would capture it all.
Listen to the sway of the sea water, allow it to help clear her mind and relax her body.
She started to reach out, get a feel of the boat, but jumped back in fright as she felt someone's presence behind her.
