(Y/n)'s POV

I was panting after escaping from The Sharp shooters, I shuddered at the thought of them I was just glad to be safe in..... okay I honestly don't know where I am but at the moment I didn't care!

That is until... "(y/n)? What are you doing here?" Looking up I saw Sun and it looked as if he hadn't slept in a while, his face went from confusing to concerned instantly "whoa are you okay? What happened?" He reached up and wiped away a tear that fell down my face.

I didn't realize it but I had been crying and instantly I knew why, memories flooded back from my past, how I was thrown into jail, how I almost got killed/majorly harmed and..... that moment that will never be forgotten.

I looked away wiping my face "nothing... just encountered some old "friends" and created a tear to.... a safe place...." that's when it dawned on me. When I made the tear I was thinking of a safe place, and it did bring me to one.

Without realizing it I muttered "I love Sun" he must've heard me as he was shocked "w.... what?" I looked over to Sun and stared directly into his eyes and said "I love you" and without hesitating I kissed him.

3rd person POV

Suns eyes went wide with shock but soon he leaned into the kiss enjoying it, soon the two separated and looked at each other saying nothing. After a moment (y/n) blushed deeply and looked away, this was the first time in forever anyone made him feel this way... and it was nice.

Sun chuckled hugging (y/n) close and nuzzling him, "I love you too (y/n)" he said kissing the wolf fauns on the head. The two stayed like that for a while before Sun spoke up and asked "what did these old friends do to you?" (Y/n) went rigged and lowering his head before speaking, "they used me in ways you don't want to know." At first Sun wasn't sure what he  meant but then he realized what he meant a fire burned in him, he hugged the wolf he loved tighter wrapping his tail around him "if I ever see them they will pay."

This earned a chuckle out of (y/n) as he smiled, a genuine smile and it warmed Sun up. Without saying anything Sun picked (y/n) up and brought him to his bed, carefully setting him down and laying next to him.

The two cuddles in silence before (y/n) spoke "listen I'm sorry about the bad date," he admired blushing more feeling bad. Sun frowned at the thought of the date but (y/n) spoke again "I did have a fun time though, in all honesty when we were at the cafe and you held that kitten.... I was speechless" Sun blushed this time before smiling.

Sun felt so happy being able to talk to (y/n), but there was something in the back of his mind "what about at the beach?" He was curious to know what was up at the time. (Y/n) sighed and pushed his face into Suns chest before explaining, "when we got the the beach I was entranced by the water I honestly didn't mean to be mean to ignore you I just felt calm."

Sun felt even worse when he exploded at him now that he knew the truth, it seemed (y/n) noticed this mood change and kissed him which surprised Sun and himself. Sun was unlocking the old (y/n) before thing went down hill in his life, "uh does this mean we're dating?" The monkey fauns asked blushing and smiled brightly when his new boyfriend nodded.

(Y/n) yawned as after the events from earlier had left him tired, Sun chuckled and hugged him close and wrapped his tail around him. "You should get some rest" "you should too," (y/n) added as his tail wagged as the two fell asleep in each other's arms.
