The thieving wolf and mischievous monkey (Sun X Faunus Male reader)

Chapter 11

3rd person POV

It had almost been a week since (y/n) was taken by an old group he knew, and in the time Sun hadn't slept well as he tossed and turned every night worrying about his boyfriend. When he did eventually fall asleep he could hear (y/n)'s voice, he was unsure if it was just a dream or it was (y/n) but either way it helped push him harder to find these monsters who took his lover.

Thanks to some tracking of (y/n)'s scroll they had found out his location, this news made Sun happy but also ready to hurt these monsters. Once everyone was ready they set off to get (y/n) back, (which just happened to be at a storage building by the docks) and upon arriving at the building they saw the doors wide open and there stood three boys. It was as if they knew about the arrival of the two teams.

Two stood to the side one held a large war hammer on his shoulders, the other boy had his arms crossed a cold look etched on his face. In the middle stood a much taller boy with a smug grin on his face and in his hand a chain, attached to the chain was a collar attached to (y/n) who's gaze was locked into the floor.

The sight shattered Sun's heart but ignited a burning rage, "well it seems the guests of honour have finally arrived! Welcome welcome!" Ryder exclaimed as he held his arms out yanking on the chain which pulled the collar hard on (y/n). He made a grunt of pain but made no movement to stop it, he just sat there not speaking a single word.

"Let (y/n) go you monster!" Sun shouted as the anger began to boil over within him, his hands began to shake with how enraged he has become. Ryder just laughed wiping away a tear "that's hilarious! Did you hear that dog? Your boy toy over there told me what to do HA!"  With out a second thought Sun sent glowing versions of himself towards Ryder not wanting to hear another word from him.

In one fluid motion Ryder sliced through the transparent Sun's with his axe a smirk on his face, "well then if that's how you want to be then let's dance monkey boy." Now you'd think that Team SSSN and team RWBY would be able to win with it being 3 V 8, what the two teams didn't know was that there were more gang members hidden in the shadows.

Ryder whistled signalling the rest to come out and help them, and that's when a big brawl happened. Clyde went after Blake and used his semblance but little did he know that it wasn't Blake he immobilized but rather a shadow she made. Clyde was surprised when the fake Blake vanished before his eyes and was struck from behind.

Yang was sending gang members flying, one after another they charged at her but got knocked back. Some got back up to take this girl down, while others groaned in the ground in pain. Neptune and Weiss teamed up to go against Kayden, it looked like they could take him that was until he smirked and from within his jacket two serpents emerged coiling  themselves around his arms.

"I hope you can handle my little companions" Kayden spoke before they jumped at Weiss and Neptune growing in size, they had little time to defend against the two serpents and Kayden stood there arms crossed a smirk on his face as he watched the two fight off his companions.

Ruby, Scarlet and Sage held off some of the remaining gang members while Sun was going after Ryder who held a firm grip on (y/n)'s chain, it was surprising to Sun that Ryder could fight one handed.

But without knowing Ryder lost his grip on the chain, seeing this (y/n) took the chance and created a tear and dove into it closing it behind him. Sun was shocked to see his boyfriend leave him, Ryder chuckled "looks like dog isn't as tough as you thought he was" Sun lowered his eyes as he continued to fight against Ryder not saying a word.

As the fighting went on Yang began to get overwhelmed, but Ruby stepped in to help her sister out. Clyde was relentless against Blake and it began to take a toll on her, thankfully Scarlet fought his way over to give Blake a hand against Clyde.

Weiss and Neptune held their ground against the serpents which seemed to grow bigger when it seemed to give them an advantage, taking note of this Sage snuck up behind Kayden and knocked him down. Upon being knocked down the serpents lost some size but were still fairly large, "seems you want to a make this a fair fight huh? Then let's make it fair" after dusting him self off Kayden pulled out two daggers spinning them in his hands before getting into a position to fight.

As everyone was fighting off something or someone they were all pre occupied that no one noticed that hidden in the shadows were (e/c) eyes watching the fight silently waiting for the right moment.
