summary: the one in which izzie doesn't pull away during that dance scene.

aka casey and izzie's first time.

Casey never thought she'd be here. Her big track meet is tomorrow, and here she is, dancing with the most beautiful girl in the room. The girl who makes her heart stop when she walks in a room. The girl who has made her question everything. Izzie. God, even thinking about the fact that Izzie feels something for her makes casey want to pull her close and never let go.

Izzie felt the same. Hell, Izzie has been pining after the lanky girl since the first time she laid eyes on her. And there casey is, just casually swaying in front of her, not knowing the effect she had on the shorter girl. Izzie knew that this was all new for the girls, but ever since that kiss, the pair of friends haven't been able to get their minds off of each other. Casey even broke up with Evan after their intimate moment. Izzie smiled slightly at the thought.

"What are you smiling at?" she asks, grinning.

"Nothing." Izzie replies, smiling still.

The girls were talking a little louder due to the music that was pumping through the air.

"Oh yeah? Nothing?" Casey asks, pulling Izzie to her chest, hands on her waist.

I don't wanna take from you, I don't need an IOU

Izzie quickly gasps and pulls away from Casey's searing grip. "Casey, I love this song!"

"Yeah?" Casey asks with a side smile. "Want to dance, lovely?"

Izzie makes whimpers slightly at the nickname, and she quickly hopes that Casey didn't hear it. But, judging by the look of want on Casey's face, she definitely heard it. Shit, Izzie thought.

Keep your pockets superglued, I got nothin', You got nothin'

As the song goes on, the two girls start dancing around each other, trying to catch each other's glance every chance they get. Their eyes were like magnets; no matter how hard they both tried, they just wouldn't leave each other. Their eyes were in love and there was nothing they could do about it.

Be my Yoko Ono muse, Serotonin, Bullet proof

As the girls spin around each other, they finally end up face to face. Their bodies instinctively move closer, chasing after the heat that they are both radiating. Their shoulders move in rhythm with the music. Casey makes a move to get closer, and Izzie lets her. She knows there's people, and maybe she would care at another time. But, right in this moment, looking at the lustful stare on Casey's face, she gives up any protest that might have been building up inside her.

The taller girl pulls Izzie forward by her waists and slowly trails her hand down to grab the other girl's hand. The moment Casey has the small girl's hand in her grasp she pulls it up and spins Izzie completely around to where her back is completely pressed up against Casey. The smaller girl gasps at the sudden change of position. Despite the initial shock, the girls quickly fall into rhythm again, swaying against each other.

Never better, Never blue, I got nothin', You got nothin'

Casey can't believe what's happening. There's an angel pressed against her and all she wants to do is bow down and worship the ground she walks on. She can hear Izzie breathing heavily in front of her, and it ignites a feeling in the girl she didn't know she had. She wants to hear more. She wants more. Casey slowly leans forward to wear her face is touching the side of Izzie's cheek. Izzie turns her head slightly to look at the girl who is firmly holding her waist. The room is getting hotter. She swears someone turned on a heater. She stares into Casey's eyes, while never once stops dancing. The short-haired girl presses her lips against Izzie's ear and whispers, "you have no idea how stunning you look," leaving a small kiss there after.
