I couldn't help but squeal happily and hug my phone against my chest when a text message came through from jack.

Jack Avery was absolutely dreamy.

I couldn't help but get red whenever I thought of how thoughtful he was or how he wiped away my tears. Jonah was unhappy with me he absolutely hated jack and wouldn't tell me why. I could see the disappointment in Jonah's eyes whenever the subject of Avery came up.

I shuffled through my locker thinking of what to reply to jack. I had set a timer to let atleast 7 minutes to go by before I responded to his messages.
"Hey zach."
I closed my locker revealing corbyn besson with a smile on his face surprisingly Christina was no where to be found around him.

"he-hey corbyn..did you need something." I felt nervous considering he was extremely popular and also jacks friend.

"there's a party this weekend I was wondering if you want to come. I planned it myself." He said proudly. "If I'm being honest I got a good vibe from you yesterday at lunch I would like to be your friend." He continued.

"Really?" I accidentally blurted out suddenly feeling embarrassed.

"Yeah of course." He smiled widely.

No wonder the whole school loved corbyn besson he was literally and angel in disguise. He had the looks and the pure personality to back it up.

I nodded eagerly. "I would love to."

"Also we would like to see you at lunch again how does that sound?" Corbyn added.

I couldn't resist him because jack sat there and for some reason jack made me smile whenever he texted or talked to me.

I think I might like boys.

"Hey you." Jack said flashing a breathtaking smile at me. I smiled back at him quietly wiping my eyes with a tissue in my hand.

"I grabbed this for you." Jack commented pulling out a small package of soft tissues.

"You're such an idiot." I chuckled lightly punching him. I showed him the packages i had in my pocket and the one in my backpack. Suddenly my cheeks felt hot.

he was thinking about me.

"Are your cheeks always this pink?" He asked as his thumb ran across my cheek. I nodded pulling away. "I should get going..don't want to keep jonah waiting."

I saw jonah standing behind jack a few feet away. His face was red he looked angry. I began to walk away

"Will I meet you at lunch atleast?" He grabbed my arm causing me to blush.

I shook my head 'no' thinking of how jonah would react. "Sorry." I pulled from his grip leaving towards jonah.

as soon as I caught up with jonah he turned to leave towards the library. I could tell he was angry.

I peaked up at jonah as he looked through his text book and scribbled notes in silence his eyebrows were furrowed a slight frown still present.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

"You know better than to be around him. That's why I'm mad at you. You didn't even wait twenty four hours before talking to him again." he scoffed.

"Why do you hate him so much?" I asked suddenly.

but the bell rung and he grabbed his things and left.

I sighed and countined my chemistry work. I wiped my eyes as they were getting my papers wet.

"do we have to?" I heard a female voice say from behind the bookshelf.

"Christina he's nice I just want to say hi. I like him." the voice sounded like corbyns.

Suddenly corbyn appeared from around the bookshelf with Christina's hand in his own. "Hey zach!"

I waved eerily nerves beginning to rise.

"Hey how come you didn't show to lunch? I saved you a seat."his tone was worried.

"O-oh uh I'm sorry I forgot I had to study with Jonah. I totally would've loved to sit with you guys though." I apologized setting my own down. I felt exposed while they both watched me. Christina scoffed.

I felt embarrassed as my eyes started to water again. I saw Christina roll her eyes. I didn't know why she hated me.

"It's okay. But I think you should definitely hang with jack and i this afternoon."
Christina cleared her throat aloud

"Well it's just a boy thing chris..cmon." He turned to her with a nervous smile.

"Whatever I have better things to do." She flipped her hair over her shoulder and crossed her arms. "Let's get out of here I don't want to be around the cry baby any longer." She muttered walking away.

"I'm sorry she's just grumpy today." A small smile on his lips. "Anyways I'll catch you after school today right and at my party right?

I nodded completely going against Jonah's wishes. Because sometimes in life you have to take chances maybe break a rule or two.

"And no bailing!" He turned and left catching up with his girlfriend who was already out the library. A happy sigh left my lips. Why did corbyn want to make so many plans with me?

My phone buzzed a few minutes later revealing a text message.

jack: hey cry baby

my chest felt tight and my breathing uneasy.

Was he making fun of me like Christina?
