Chapter 6 School

Julius POV

I woke up to find that girl still sleeping, yesterday was a crazy day my annoying girlfriend came over and started to cause trouble. Honestly I wish this was all a dream. 

I watched the girl or Noelle I should say getting up from the bed and staring right at me her blonde hair was all messy and her nightgown was pulled up showing her thighs. I looked as she was still staring at me her crystal-like eyes were shining bright.

"Are you gonna keep on staring at me go put your uniform on we have class today" I watched as she came out of thought and nodded. "You don't really talk much" I say trying not to sound annoyed by the fact that she was still staring at me like crazy.

"Oh im sorry I thought you didn't like when I talk well im gonna go"

I smirked trying not to laugh out loud "you have to follow my directions remember I didn't say you could go" she looked at me as if she was gonna yell at me with anger. "Okay im sorry what else do you need from me?" she asked with some slight sass. I signaled for her to come over here and sit next to me she nodded and walked over and sat next to me.

"Is your scratch okay?"

I gently turned her head and examined her scratch even if I don't care about her she still needs to be in one piece or everyone will talk about how I treat my partner bad and I could be the talk of the school. And that is something I never want to happen.

"Im okay it just hurts a tiny bit when you touch it but anyway um thank you again for helping me yesterday and showing me around the school," she said as she got up and walked to the bathroom.

Guess she forgot my rules again I thought

I got ready and waited for her outside the door opened and there she came out her long blonde hair flowing behind her and her school bag slumped on her shoulder I found myself staring at her she was very pretty but I soon snapped out of thought and looked away.

Am I crazy? I thought

"Let's go and stay close you don't know what these kids will do to a girl from the light"

We walked outside it was really cold out but thank god I got a sweater but it seems my scumbag of a partner didn't I sighed and handed her my sweater I didn't want her to complain.

"I don't need it you can use it..."

"No, it's fine just take it and shut up" I quickly pushed the sweater to her and continued walking I honestly don't know why I have a partner one day I was just sitting in my room when a note got slipped under my door reading it my eyes were shocked.

Dear, Julius Emerson

You have been chosen as one of the kids of darkness to have 1 of the children of light to be your partner I am sure you would like to do this. You will come to the Cafeteria tomorrow at 1 pm to get your partner, remember when you have a partner you must show responsibility and care for them. Also, you will be living with your partner for 2 years until the day of the lighting when darkness and light come together to celebrate. For now, you will stay with your partner and have a regular schedule nothing else.

That was the worst day of my life I hate sharing my room nevermind sharing it for a few years but she's not as bad as I thought she doesn't talk a lot and she does what she is told which is surprising because children of light are said to be brats and spoiled children.

"Hey mate!"

Turning around I saw Milo running towards me he had on his black uniform and long jacket his partner was trotting right behind trying to keep up.

"Hey, Milo how are ya?" I asked "oh im good this partner thing is such a handful but I got it, Speaking of partner what happened with you and Dana yesterday? I heard you ran out on her in your dorm, to go with your partner" Milo said eating a twinkie bar I watched as crumbs fell down his face.

"Uh, nothing happened alright let's just get to class before I have to shove that twinkie down your throat" I turned back around to see Noelle talking with a girl talking to each other when they both looked up at me I just noticed how short they were.

"Oh look your partner is friends with mine well how cute!" I felt a slight snicker in Milos's voice "so you know each other?" I asked.

"Uh...yes we met on the drive here," she said

I couldn't help but laugh I wish I could tell her she took a portal here and not a drive but I didn't and I walked off with Milo.

"Come on let's go, idiots, we have class, oh and this is Milo one of my good friends but anyway let's go" Ishouted and I watched in the corner of my eye as they both trotted after us.
