Chapter 18 Around the Supermarket

Julius POV

*2 days later*

We were shopping for a bunch of things the supermarket was packed I could tell we were gonna be here for a while. I looked down at Noelle she was looking at the list of things it was quite short but we needed things also. I sighed and we went down the aisle.

"Noelle the sauce is over there!"

I pointed to a shelf with different sauce Noelle smiled and walked over but she bumped into a large man with short white hair he was very fat and had glasses on.

This idiot needs to watch out...

The man looked down at her and sneered he didn't look happy he pushed Noelle to the side before walking ahead. "Stupid idiot watch it!"  the man yelled. I looked at him in disgust tapping on his shoulder he turned around and I slapped him in anger. 

"Don't you dare touch her again!" 

The man looked at me in shock and confusion "Julius what the hell!" Noelle ran up to me fear in her eyes she grabbed my hand and the cart with the other and moved forward. 

"We are very sorry!" 

Noelle looked up at me I could tell she was mad her blue eyes now filled with fury and she had her hands balled into fists.

"Noelle you saw what he did..."

People looked over at us before going back to what they were doing "I know but you cannot just go around hitting people"  Noelle said. "Whatever..." I looked away in embarrassment "I know you don't care but I do now come on we need to go to the other side over there we need marshmallows" Noelle laughed I watched as she skipped down the aisle the cart in front of her.

"Alright then rainbow marshmallows or regular?"

I looked at her and laughed she can be super adorable sometimes "I think both" I threw them in the cart laughing before kissing her on the cheek. 

"oh my lord, Julius you don't want anyone to see us!"

She playfully slapped me on the arm her face was all red how cute "alright then but I will get you when we get home" she looked at me in shock and ran down the aisle "hey wait for me!" I shouted and I ran after her. 

We were almost done shopping then we can go see nurse Luff I hope she was fine up there that cabin can be cold very cold. 

"So Julius we need two more things Juice and cereal" 

"Those things are on the other side lets go" we walked all the way to the other side I could tell Noelle was already tired.

"Alright, then we are now done come on" I pulled her into the line and we waited and waited then finally we got to pay. "Hello, ma'am" the cashier looked at Noelle a look of shock crossed her face. "Umm hello, dear do you have money to pay?" the cashier. "Yes I do" Noelle took out the money and showed the cashier "alright but where did you get it?" I could tell what she was doing from afar. Tapping on Noelle she turned around looking at me curiously and I whispered into her ear. 

"Oh, I see..."

Noelle looked back at the cashier in disgust after what I said "mam just because I am a child of the light doesn't mean I steal now please let me pay" I looked at Noelle happy she can be sassy I like it. 

The woman looked at her in shock and nodded she seem surprised and in shock "I am sorry..." the cashier started to ring up the items everyone looked at us they seem annoyed that everything was going slow. 

"Hurry up cashier!"

"So slow!"

"I am complaining"

We looked at each other and laughed before leaving the supermarket we were happy that we could leave we are never going back to that supermarket again. 

Noelle POV 

This is Noelle POV when she was in the supermarket her point of view

We were walking around in the supermarket I found it kinda cool that they had so many things the side of light doesn't have. Julius was looking through the list once more he looked up and around the aisle looking for something then he seems to spot it.

"Noelle the sauce is over there!"

Julius had pointed to a shelf with a different sauce I giggled he's acting like we found treasure or something.  I walked over bumping into an old man I looked up he gave me a murderous look. 

Great, I am totally dead...

The man looked down at me yelling then pushed me I almost toppled over but I regained my balance I looked at him annoyed he looks like he came out of a trash can he stinks the man walked passed me and continued his way.

What a rude guy...

I looked over at Julius who wasn't next to the carriage I looked around and found him a little ahead of me then I heard yelling I ran over to see that Julius had slapped the guy. 

"Don't you dare touch her again!" 

I looked at him and told him to stop but he didn't hear me "Julius what the hell!" now I was infuriated the guy had a bruise on his cheek even if he pushed me doesn't mean he gets slapped. 

I moved the cart up and grabbed Julius with my other hand and pulled him forward I was mad my hands were balled up into fists how could he do that. 

"Noelle you saw what he did..."

I looked at him angrily "whatever..." Julius looked away I could tell he was embarrassed

"I know you don't care but I do now come on we need to go to the other side over there we need marshmallows" I pulled him and we went to grab marshmallows I looked at them and grabbed one with rainbow marshmallows and the other with regular. 

"Alright then rainbow marshmallows or regular?"

I looked up at him and he chuckled 

"How about both" and he threw them into the cart then he kissed me on the cheek I looked at him in shock we are in public. 

"oh my lord, Julius you don't want anyone to see us!"

I playfully slapped him on the arm

We grabbed the other things that we needed and we finally made it into the line 

Julius had pulled me more into the line and I went up to the cashier "Hello, ma'am" the lady looked at with a little shock wonder why. 

"Umm hello, dear do you have money to pay?"  "Yes I do" I took out the money and showed the cashier it was weird they never did this in the city of light I guess "alright but where did you get it?" the cashier asked I looked at her confused is this a thing here I thought. 

Julius had tapped me on the shoulder whispering something in my ear "Noelle since your from the city of light she thinks you stole the money and doesn't like you at all" Julius whispered.

I looked up in shock that lady what a bitch I thought

"mam just because I am a child of the light doesn't mean I steal now please let me pay" Julius looked at me and smiled I could tell he was impressed. The woman looked at me in shock and nodded she seem surprised and in confused "I am sorry..." the cashier started to ring up the items everyone looked at us they seem annoyed that everything was going slow. 

I laughed...

We finally made it out of the supermarket and we put the groceries away and we drove to the cabin

Never going back there again...
