"What do you want to be when you grow up, Trevor?"
My father would ask me that every year, I think he's trying to change my mind. I won't.
"Dad, I've told you, I wanna be a Doctor!"
My father then asked me,
"What field will you be on?"
Now, that was the first time he asked me that question. I know a lot about medical stuff and I know I wanna be a General Surgeon.
"Well, I wanna be a Surgeon."
My father was surprised. Maybe he didn't know I would actually pick that?
"Whatever you're happy in, son."
Little did he know, I'm gonna be happy when my past will be reverted in my future.
"Be sure to find a woman you'll love forever and ever, son. That's how I made your mom fall in love with me."
My father then chuckles.
"I heard that you bloody wanker!"
It was my mom yelling from the kitchen again.
"I'll show you the best version of me dad. I swear I will."
I whispered to myself as I made my way to my room.
