"Come on tough guy, one game?" Richie tugged on the forever rolled up sleeve of his boyfriend's horrendous mustard colored shirt. Henry pulled his arm back roughly and shooed Richie away.
"No Rich, told ya I don't wanna," Henry returned to his favorite hobby of the day, kicking the seat of the poor third grader in front of him. The little brown haired dweeb put up with the activity without a fight, knowing what would be in store for him if he made a fuss. Richie signed and shook his head, they were in detention because of Henry, the least he could do was entertain the younger boy.
"Hen-Hen, please?" Henry blushed and growled.
"Shut up dumbass! Someone will hear you," ah, there it was, Henry's desperate attempt not to reveal his homosexuality. Richie truly wondered how someone could be so gay and so homophobic at the same time. "And I don't want to play your stupid game. So piss off," Richie pouted, turning his body to fully face Henry.
"Why? What's so wrong with it? I don't understand what makes this so taboo for you Hen," Henry rolled his eyes, turning slightly away from Richie.
"I've told you once, and I'll tell you a million times more, chess is for losers," Richie scoffed, but smiled. No one could be as shameful as Henry about the smallest thing as not knowing how to play chess.
"Yeah, it's for losers, smart losers."
It's safe to say that Richie got a small bruise on his arm for that comment, but Henry still apologized for it later that day. Muttering something about keeping his image and refusing to meet Richie's eye after he pressed a small kiss to the mark.
