Chapter2 Freshman 3 on 3

Today was the first day of highschool wich meant volly ball practice. Randi couldn't belive he had made it. As he entered the gym he was greeted with an unexpected sight there where three boys all with brown hair one about average height the other two were tall the tallest and the average height one appeared to be fighting "why are you hear!" "I have a right to be hear!" Randi decided it would be best if he stayed out of it. He saw the other boy just sitting there with his head in his palme. Randi walked over to him "Hey." "Hi" the boy responded "sorry about them"  he sounded disappointed "no no its not you don't apologize" Rand was very kind and never tried to make people apologize or feel bad. Another boy walked in he had glasses on. He locked a1t the two who where fighting then walked to a corner and sat down and read a book. Next came a short boy "whats wrong with you people." He also had brown hair Rand appeard to be the odd one out. The boy also sat down and started doing what looked like home work "all right line up" an adult man came in he had blond hair that had been tied back he smelt like booze and smoke. "I'm keishin ukai and I'm you coach." " alright today where doing a karasuno volly ball tradition the freshman 3 on 3" the first day and they where  already playing a game Randi couldn't wait. The boys all lined up frome tallest to shortest. Randi was in between the shorter of the boys who had been fighting and the boy who had been doing his homework. Coach continued "teams are on team 1: Randi Tayorininaru, KC Katsu, and Max Nozomu. On team 2: Gavyn Hatudenjo, Alan Eien, and Conner Hagane." Randi looked around to see his team max was the boy he had been talking to and KC was the shortest boy on the team and the boy who was to his left. Randi looked at the other team to see the boys named Gavyn and Conner glaring at each other. What is there problem he thought. "All right!" Coach continued "you will be playing in a triangle shape with two in the front one in the back whoever is in the back will serve rotate like normal." The starting lineup for team 1 was KC in the top left Randi in the top right and Max in the back. On team 2 it was Gavyn in the top left Conner in the top right and Alan in the back. Team 1 had the first serve max looked at the ball the to the other side of the net he focused on hi freind, Gavyn wasn't the best with air combat he was much better on the ground. All he had to do was hit the ball over him. The serve was good it flew right over Gavyn it looked like it was going to be a point when almost out of know where came Allen. The ball flew right into his hand but it had no control it flew right over the net "chance ball" kc yelled as he received the ball Randi set the ball up max saw the opportunity and almost like instinct he called for the ball Randi sent the ball this way max jumped up for the spike the set was a little short but max could work with it he slammed the ball down Alan dove for it but he couldn't get to it "sorry" he sounded disapointed " it's o-" gavyn was in the middle of his scentance when Conner interupted " don't apologize don't make mistakes." His voice was full of anger. Gavyn knew instantly that this was going to be one hell of a game. Team 1 ended up taking the first set. Max looked over to see gavyn he was lost in his head this happened mostly in school but sometimes during games. Him and alan had been talking about soumething. Team two took the second set. The third and final set started gavyn served it an KC revived Randi set the ball max again slammed the ball. Alan tried to save it but it hit her arm and continued on its path gavyn bolted to the ball he dove his job as the leibaro was to stop the ball frome hitting the ground he made contact with the ball it flew up. Gavyn looked at Conner and shouted " last hit" Conner heard this and saw the opportunity he jumped for the ball max jumped up to block it but Conner had him beat they scored the point. The game continued on 5-5, 5-6, 6-6, 15-15, 16-15, 24-24, 24-25, 25-25, 25-26. Team 2 needed one more point to win. Conner served it Randi revived the ball this time max set it KC spiked it. Gavyn revived Alan set Conner spiked KC jumped up to block contradictory to to his hight he could jump. He blocked the ball and scored the point for his team. 26-26. Max served the ball Alan revived it Gavyn set it Conner spiked the ball "Hey zippy when you set just focus on hitting the ball up I'll do the rest that goes for you to specs. Conners voice was serious it had changed from angry to calm Gavyn was confused he thought Conner would have yelled at him. The score was 26 to 27 the needed one more point to win. Conner served the ball the other team hit it back over Alan set it up "get their zippy" Conner called gavyn jumped for the ball max jumped to block gavyn hit the ball it bounced off of max's hand and hit the ground. Everyone went silent gavyn looked over to see the score 26 to 28. "Yaaaaaaa!" Gavyn yeald. After the game Gavyn and Randi talked gavyn bounced around like normal max couldn't hear what the where saying what he did hear was Gavyn saying "it was like woosh and boom zip then Kaplan." He was back to his old self again and that made max happy.

Max is a very kind person who will always help the team win. He is 6 foot he is also the more down to earth counterpart to Gavyn.
