In our lives, we ask ourselves so many questions. Some of them may be simple like, " should I get chocolate or vanilla ice cream?" Others are more complex like, "should I get a new car or should I just get my old one fixed?" Most of the time, we can just make a "pros" and "cons" list and easily make our decision. But sometimes, we can't make a decision that easily or quickly. My question was nearly impossible. Or so I thought. I had always wondered what it was like to be popular. Every single day I would daydream of what it would be like to have a lot of people know you and to have boys come and talk to you other than to ask you what the homework is. A lot of the time, I would be staring right at a popular person. They would just stare back at me until I realized what I was doing. Everybody is thought to have a "group" in school. The truth is, there are no groups. There is only people who have friends. People put labels on others. I know this because I used to think this. There would be the "populars", who would know a lot of people and have boys talk to them. Then there was " everyone else" who was basically everyone who wasn't a "popular". Back to my question, I had asked myself, " should I be a popular,or should I stay somebody else?". I didn't know what to do. But first what got me into this problem was middle school.
