y/n's POV
"We need to get back to the island," I say, but then I move to the right to dodge one of Aspheera's fireballs.
"I know, but how?" Lloyd asks.
"I have a plan, but it's incredibly risky."
"What do you have in mind?"

"Over here!" I call, wanting Kai to pass the scroll. It didn't light up for him, due to Aspheera taking his power, so he was eager to get rid of it.
"Y/n, watch out!" Cole cries, but it's too late. Aspheera comes straight towards me and snatches the scroll out of my hand.
"What are you going to do now, little ninja?" Aspheera cackles. "Without your scroll, you are powerless against me!"
I stay still as she slithers away from me. Using her scepter, she begins to conjure up a portal for herself, and if I squint, I can see Chen's castle in the swirling image. Just before she leaps into it, I run up behind her. Lloyd comes with me, being the only one who knew of my plan, and once we're close enough, we dive through Aspheera's portal.
----Lloyd's POV-----
As soon as y/n and I tumble headfirst out of the portal, we run to get out of sight. The portal led right into the middle of the throne room, and Aspheera is now slithering towards Chen, who's sitting atop his throne. Y/n and I hide behind a pillar, watching and listening to the whole scene.
"Get down from there, Chen!" Aspheera demands. "After your failure to raise an army of Anacondai, you hardly deserve to sit there!"
"It's not my fault that the plan didn't work. I got distracted, so I forgot to absorb the remaining competitors' powers, and then they broke the scepter, and--"
Aspheera rolls her eyes. "We don't have time for this. Have Clouse make another one, and I'll get the ninja back here to extract their powers."
-------Jay's POV---------
"Where are they? What happened? I am so confused," I say, scratching my head. "Y/n and Lloyd were here with us one minute, and then poof, they're gone."
"I believe they have returned to the island with Aspheera," Zane says. "They must have a plan, otherwise they wouldn't have jumped into the portal."
"They might have a plan, but what about us?" Kai asks. "What are we going to do? We can't just wait for them to figure everything out on their own."
"Uh, guys?" Cole asks, pointing at a portal now opening in front of him. "Is this normal?"
"It must lead to the island!" Nya exclaims. "Let's go!"
"Wait!" I say, but it's too late; she's already gone. Before anyone else can stop me, I go in after her.
------Cole's POV------
"Ouch! You're on my foot!" I complain to Kai.
"Sorry; didn't see you there."
"Maybe jumping into a mysterious portal wasn't the best idea after all," Jay admits, looking like he's about to be sick.
"Well, that's convenient," Chen says. "You didn't even need to go after them, Aspheera. They jumped into the portal all on their own!"
I hear a small smacking sound, and I turn my head to see y/n hiding behind a pillar, face-palming.
"I have a feeling this isn't good," I mumble to the others while making eye contact with y/n. "What do we do?" I mouth to her, hoping she'll know what we should do to get out of this mess.
She gives me a look as if to say are you serious? and looks me dead in the eye. "Run!"
