Chapter 8

"So how's studying going?" Sophia asked as she pulled her hat over her ears.

Y/n watched as her breath created a little white cloud, causing her to shiver.

"Don't remind me, people are giving me looks, and I mean different types of looks. Not to mention the interviews. And I know Wyatt means well but god it's just so tiring..." y/n groaned as the two began to make their way to Hogsmeade.

The guys were having a study date since most of them are failing, so Chosen and Wyatt were helping them. Sophia and Y/n wanted to go shopping for some dresses as it was declared that they would have a ball.

"Y/n!" A voice shouted as the noise of quicksteps were heard behind Y/n and Sophia.

"Did you hear that?" Y/n asked as she stopped walking.

It took Sophia a second before she realized Y/n stopped. She then stopped on her tracks and looked back.

"Huh... Harry Potter."

"What?"

"Y/n!"

Y/n turned around to meet face to face with the boy who lived.

His black hair was disheveled and his round glasses were crooked. He put his hands on his knees as he panted, catching his breath.

"I didn't think I would catch up to you..."

Y/n blinked as she eyed the boy up and down.

"Um... can I help you?" She asked, shyly as she glanced over at Sophia, who only shrugged.

He huffed out a deep breath and then stood up straight to face Y/n.

"Dragons."

"I beg your pardon..?"

"The first task... it's dragons." Harry repeated, his face filled with worry as he shifted his gaze from each of her e/c eyes.

Y/n glanced back at Sophia with a slightly panicked expression.

"Gee, thank you so much Harry... I really appreciate it... I owe you one... big time!" Y/n gave Harry a big smile and then a pat on his shoulder.

Harry's response was him jumping back, hissing in pain as he covered his scar with his hand.

"Are you alright?" Y/n yelped as she jumped back as well, confused on what happened.

"Just dandy! Just a little shock..." He mumbled as he waved his hand in dismissal and began to walk where he came from.

Y/n blinked and then shrugged as she caught up with Sophia and they headed towards Hogsmeade.

"Dragons... just insane!" Y/n shouted as she gripped Sophia's arm and tugged on it.

"That was awfully sweet of him to warn ya... now you know what to study." Sophia calmly stated as she glanced over at Y/n.

"Yes, I'll have to tell Wyatt once we come back." Y/n nodded.

"Let's go in here!" Sophia chirped as she went inside the first dress shop they saw.

Their method was that they both picked a few dresses, and after each dress they tried on, they showed each other.

"So...." Sophia started as she was in the fitting room right next to Y/n's

Y/n glanced at the wall that blocked the two rooms.

She began to undress as she responded to Sophia.

"So?" She questioned.

"You and Wyatt... are y'all like a thing now?" Sophia asked, a soft thump was heard, signaling that she took one of the dresses off the hanger.
