The Nightmare

Barry raced into his home and was shocked to see what had happened to it.  The house was ransacked by someone and had looked like a tornado had blown through here. Upon seeing what has happened here and started to think which one of his enemies could have done this. He was thinking which one enemy was bold enough to attack he and Caitlin's home. A frightening thought  popped into his head... Is Caitlin alright? He called out Caitlin's name  praying to god that she was alright only to hear a baby crying. He then moved towards the source of the noticed it was coming from the nursery. He rushed right into only to stop to his worst nightmare in front of him. Caitlin Snow-Allen, Barry's wife and behind her was his arch enemy, the one behind most of the pain in his life... Eobard Thawne, The Reverse-Flash. The man who caused so much in everyone's life with the deaths of Ronnie, Eddie but most of all Barry's mother. Thawne was holding her hostage with his arm around her neck causing a scared look on Caitlin's face.

"Thawne please don't hurt them." Barry begging hoping that he would not hurt her and their unborn child. "Take me instead, kill me."

"No!" Caitlin cried not wanting to lose him.

"Oh Barry, you really think that you really live happy life without me making you suffer." He said with a villainous smirk on his face. "I always be there to cause you pain and take away everything from you...just like your mother." He added tightening his grip on Caitlin's neck.

Thawne's free hand then started phase causing fear in Barry. He knew what Thawne's next move is and had to stop him. Barry then ran towards Thawne trying to take him down only Thawne rush in front of him mid run and knock him to the ground. Thawne then turned around to face Caitlin causing her to freeze in place as his hand begun.

"Goodbye Caitlin, tell Nora I said Hello." He said ready to kill Caitlin.

"Thawne!" Barry screamed as Thawne was making his move.

"Barry, I-" Caitlin said only to be stopped as Thawne phased his fist right into her chest killing with the baby's cry getting louder,

"NO!" Barry screamed at horror in front of him as Caitlin's dead body fell to the floor.

Barry awoken from his sleep gasping after what had just happened in his terrifying nightmare. He sat up quickly covered in a cold sweat from what he had seen. He quickly looked over at Caitlin hoping that she was alright and felt a huge relief when he saw her. She was in a deep sleep due to being exhausted lately from her eighth month of her pregnancy. Barry got out from under the covers and moved over to be sitting on the edge of the bed. He then lowered his head with his mind still in shock of what he had seen an started to take deep breaths. Still feeling at unease, he left the bedroom and made his way downstairs.

Once downstairs, Barry made his way to the dinning room where Caitlin left her laptop. As he moving though the house, he still couldn't get the image of Caitlin's dead body out oh his head. The image stopped once he reached the dinning room and turned on his laptop. He then sat down once it was online and began his late night work. First he logged into the laptop by putting in the password which was "Snowbarry", Cisco's ship name for them. Then the laptop opened the home screen which Barry stopped to glance at the background image. The image was a selfie of Barry and Caitlin together on their honeymoon on the beaches of Aruba. After glancing over that happy memory, he clicked on the S.T.A.R Labs remote link.

The link was set up by Cisco since Barry did not Caitlin to stay home and relax since she is in her third trimester. Caitlin wanted to continue helping the team and not just lie around all day waiting for the baby to come. The couple reached a compromise when Cisco put a remote link to  S.T.A.R Labs mainframe on her laptop. The link allowed her to monitor Barry's vitals, their criminal database, her research, the satellites, and so much more.
