Chapter 1

I can't see, and it is loud.  I can't hear. Muffled noises surround my head.  Darkness fills my eyes.  Dust blows through my long, blue hair.  My hearing becomes more clear, all I can hear is screams though.  Crying and screamming.  My arm burns and I see red.

"Oh my goodness, let me help you!" I hear a voice urge.

A tug on my hand wrenches me from the chaos.  I see someone. Blurred, unrecognizable. My eyes see nothing but gray around me.  Dust, smoke, and metal everwhere.  I finally get the strength to stand and start walking with the figure.  She rushes me to saftey and then I can see her face.  It was dusty and covered in what looked like oil.  I wonder if I looked the same.  She pulls me inside the army green tent and turns back to make sure I follow.

Her hair is short and curly, brunett and flowy.  She has the most beautiful cat-green eyes.  The look on herface gives me a sense of urgency. The girl pulls out a ripped t-shirt and shreds a piece of clothe from it. She raps it around my arm and looks up at my stunned face.

"Your hair, how did you get it like that? I haven't seen hair dye in over 10 years."

I don't understand what she means, I just got this two months ago.

"What do you mean 10 years?" I ask.

"Ever since the incident?" She responds curiously.

"What incident?"

Her face looks worried, and that's when I know, I didn't just wake up from a six hour sleep.  I have been asleep for ten years.
