Gregory POV
9:17 AM.
“WHAT?!” Katie said, as her
face was shocked and was filled
with horror.
“Hey, a dare is a dare. So, you
better do it, Katie.”
James said, smirking evily.
After that, Katie felt a bit sad
and pouted. I can't really say
anything else, but it's cute.
And then at last, the waiter
arrives with the ordered coffee
and drinks. Then everyone
started drinking their coffee.
I drank mine as well, not
showing any care for anything
else.
Just, her.
“Wanna do one last round
before we head back to class,
everyone?” James said, as he
shuffled the cards.
Everyone nodded and was
given cards. So with that, the
game started again. James
started with a 1 of Diamonds.
Gabriel followed, with a 4
of Spades.
Next was Pauline, who
confidently placed a 6 of Club.
Then it was Hana placing
a Queen of Hearts.
Lastly, it was Katie, who
reluctantly and luckily placed a
9 of Hearts.
I yawned, seemingly like I was
a bit bored. Then I realized it
was my turn and placed
down my card.
It was then, in that moment. I
let my guard down. It was a
Jack. Everyone went and
placed their hands
on the card. I, surprisingly lost.
“Ayayay. Unlucky Gregory.”
James said and giggled.
“Well, pay attention ka
next time. Haha.”
Pauline said and laughed.
“Nanalo rin si Kayt,
woaw. sanaol.”
Hana said, being surprised.
Katie sighed for a big relief.
“Alright, time for your dare,
Sir Gregi.”. James said as he
went close to my ear.
