Betty's POV

Veronica and I have finally found a weekend where we are both free. No homework. No studying. No interuptions. Just us besties. I hate saying that. I wish other than bestfriends it could be well... girlfriends. But again I know that's never gonna happen so why even think about it at all. She's only gonna see me as a friend.

It's about eight o'clock and I just woke up. I just stayed laying in bed because it's Saturday and I'm tired and don't wanna move. Just then my door opened. "Wake up sleepy head!" It was Veronica. I groaned as she turned on the lights. "What?" I asked and looked at her, with my eyes still adjusting to the light. "We both don't have anything to do this weekend so we are going to watch movies all weekend." She said happily and with a smile on her face. "Does it have to be now?" I asked. "Uhh, yeah, it kinda does." "But why?" I asked as she pulled the covers off of me. "Uhm, excuse me it's cold!" I said sitting up a bit. "I know, but we can use the blankets while we're watching movies." She said smiling still. "Does it have to mine, and why are you so happy?" She made a look like she was thinking. "I don't know, but I like it and let's go watch movies." She said running out of the room still holding my blankets. I laughed to myself and sat up. "She's so adorable." I muttered to myself. "You coming!?" She asked. "Yea, I'm coming!" I said getting up and walking out to the living room. "So what shall we watch first?" She asked. I shrugged. "I don't know." I said and sat next to her on the couch. She sighed and played a random movie.

We watched a whole bunch of lovey dovey romance movies all day. Every one of them made me think that, that could me and Veronica. Sometimes I could even picture us as the two people on the screen. Imagine that it is us kissing and hugging and cuddling. But whatever.

It's now nine-thirty at night so I got up to get in the shower real quick. When I got out Veronica took a quick one too. When she got out we started watching movies again.

We were about out of popcorn so I said something. "We're almost out of popcorn." I said and we looked at each other dead in the eyes. She smiled. "I'll go get more." I smiled too. "Okay." She got up and walked to the kitchen. Okay, I can't stand this anymore!

Veronica's POV

We watched so many romance movies and I got really sad watching them because I was thinking and Betty and I being together, even though I know that it'll never happen. "We're almost out of popcorn." She said. We looked in each others eyes. Her beautiful green eyes. "I'll go get more." I smiled. "Okay." She said and I got up and walked into the kitchen. I put the popcorn in the microwave and looked over at Betty who was sitting on the couch and looked like she was in deep thought. The microwave beeped. I blinked and looked back at it. It's been two minutes already?

I walked back into the living room and sat next to Betty who was still in deep thought. "Hey, B, are you Okay? You seem really distracted." I asked. Betty didn't answer she just sat there in her own world. "Betty!" I said and waved my hand in her face. Betty snapped out of it and just looked at me without saying anything. "You good?" I slightly smiled. I noticed Betty had a worried face. "Are you good?" I asked again. Before I knew it she had kissed me. I was shocked and surprised, but I kissed her back. It was short, but also slightly passionate. She pulled away first. "Betty." I whispered. "I'm sorry, Veronica. I couldn't hide it anymore or keep it back. I like you, Veronica. I have since I first met you. Your gorgeous, smart and perfect, and everything I need, but can't have. I just had to kiss you at least once. I--" I cut her off by kissing her again. I felt her smile against my lips. I pulled away. "I like you, too." I said and smiled. She did to and let out a small sigh of relief. "Really?" She asked. I nodded. "Ever since I first laid my eyes on you I thought damn! She's beautiful!" I said maybe overexaggerating the word damn to much. She smiled even more. "Really?" She asked. I nodded and smiled even more, too. "Really." I noticed her face turn a light shade of red. "Aww." I said and she turned away. "Now don't do that." I said and turned her face to look at me. I kissed her again. She kissed back. When we pulled away she looked at me. "Does this mean we're together?" She asked. "Do you want us to be?" I asked. "Yes." She said shyly. I smiled and she did slightly. "Then we are." I said. "Yes!" She said. We started watching the movies again, but now we are cuddled up next to each other and holding hands. I'm happy now.
