Betty's POV

I woke up and looked around my room. I don't even remember falling asleep. I got up and walked out of my room. I walked into the living room. "Oh, Betty, your awake." She said once she saw me. "Yeah." I sighed and sat next to her. "How are you feeling?" She asked. "Well, my boyfriend just broke up with me if that's what your wondering." I said. She stayed quiet. "I'm sorry." I said. "I'm just upset." I told her. She smiled a little. "No, it's fine. I understand." She said and pulled me into a hug. I smiled and hugged back. "Your the best." "Oh, I know." I laughed a little. "Were you planning on doing something today?" She asked. "No, not that I know of. Why?" I asked. "Just maybe thought we could go out and get some coffee walk around the park for a bit and talk. Then, maybe come back here for the rest of the day." I smiled. "Sounds great! Let me go get dressed." I walked back to my room smiling and quietly giggling to myself. You know?! I'm going to pretend this is a date without her knowing. Obviously nothings gonna happen, but whatever. It'll shine more light on me. Plus I like her so, what the hell? I got changed and everything.

We went to the small cafe we went to when we first got to school. We stayed there about half an hour, and then we went and walked around the park. We talked and laughed. She made me forget all about Jughead and my broken heart. About two hours later it was starting to get a little breezy. "Have you ever been in a relationship?" I aksed her. The smile on her face disappeared. "Not exactly. My father has always been strict about who I brought home or who I dated. So, I never really tried. Besides, guys are a waste of time." She said. I laughed a little. "I can't disagree." I said. We looked each other deep in the eyes. Her eyes are so beautiful. I quickly looked away.  "It's getting late. We should get back to the dorm." She sighed and nodded. "Yeah, your right." She said.

Once we got back to the dorm it was about four. It wasn't really late so much as we needed to finish honework and study for upcoming tests and all of that.

Veronica's POV

We looked each deep in the eyes. Oh my God! So I told get we were gonna go out and I did it to get her mind off of Jughead. I think it worked. I kind of thought of it as a small date, but can't kiss her at the end for so many reasons. For one her boyfriend just broke up with her. And two she probably doesn't even like me like that. I'm probably just a friend to her anyways.

I'm in my room finishing the last bit of homework I had when my phone started buzzing over and over. I looked at it. It was that Archie guy calling me. I pressed decline. A few minutes later it started ringing again. I clicked decline again. Only thirty seconds later it was ringing again. "Oh, my god!" I said to myself and grabbed my phone. How many times is he gonna call me? I pressed decline for the third time. I put .y phoen down, but it buzzed. "Ugh!" He texted me. I'm changing his name.

Stalker

S: Pick up the phone.

S: Please!

S: Come on!

V: No! Leave me alone!

S: Come on just talk to me.

V: No, I'm in the mood for you. Besides, nothing is gonna happen between us. Ever!

S: Just give us a shot

V: You know my friend was in an accident and just woke up from a coma and now her boyfriend just broke up with her. So I'm not in the mood for talking to you.

S: Can we just meet up again?

V: No, I'm busy!

S: Doing what? Fucking another dude.

V: No! Also that is none of your concern. Leave me alone.

S: Fine!

He stopped texting me. I put my phone down. "Oh, my god!" I mumbled. There was a small knock at the door and it opened a little. "Hey you okay?" Betty asked. I looked at her. "Yeah, I'm fine." I sighed. "You don't seem fine." She said and walked over to the bed. I went to the bed and sat right next to her. "Well, you know that one dude that I brought over a few months back? Before the whole accident." She nodded. "Yeah, why?" "Well, he won't stop texting me." I told her. "Well, just block his number." "I would, but he's knows exactly what room I'm in." She sighed. "Yeah, I forgot about that." "Well, if he comes I'm gonna show him to leave you alone." I smiled. "Your the best. I love you." I said. "I love you, too, bestie. Now I have to go finish some homework." She said. "Okay." She got up and left my room. My smile went away. "I love you, too, bestie." I repeated and I sighed. Bestie. Of course. I finished my homework and took a shower. I stood there for wya to long. I was to busy thinking. Thinking about school. Thinking about life. Thinking about her. Well, she kind of feels like my life, and when she was in the coma it felt like my life was slowly falling apart. But when she woks up it's like it was built back up again, but still can never loose these feelings for her. I went to sleep early because I'm sick of thinking and I have school tomorrow so yeah.

Betty's POV

Bestie? Bestie!? What the hell is wrong with me? I know I like her. Why am I trying to hide it now. I'm not with Jughead so-- oh, wait I know why I'm hiding it now. She will never fucking like me, but I like her. A lot. And when she started talking about that one guy I felt a little bit jealous, but what's the point? There's no good to it. Why do I have to in love with my bestfriend? I just finished my homework and went to bed. Thinking about Veronica.
