The house Brad was assigned to was a four-roomed cottage with a bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a kitchen, living room and a dining room. Well furnished and homey.
Stepping outside, he was looking around when he was interrupted by the lull of the water in a distance. Without thinking, Brad followed the sound until he came to a stop on the sandy bank of the stream.
Clear water slid over small stones and around the big rocks in a mesmerizing flow. The stream calmed him and he picked up a handful of pebbles and threw them in the stream one after another.
"I thought I'll find you here." Brad's heart nearly jumped out of his chest in shock, but did not turn to look at the intruder.
No way! No fucking way!
What's she doing here? How did she... Is she stalking me? Oh my God! Not today.
Recovering quickly, he looked at her with a face void of emotions. "Good for you."
Ignoring his tone, the intruder smiled brightly. "How do you find Stellenbosch?"
"It actually was great until just a few seconds ago," he smiled devilishly. He didn't like her and she knew it, so what the hell was she doing here?
"Feisty as ever, I see." She batted her eyelashes and pouted in what she believed was a sexy seductive way, but she only looked like a robot with malfunction.
"Slutty as ever, I see," he wanted to say but ended up asking, "What do you want?"
"There's a gala dinner at the Lanzerac Wine Estate on Saturday. You coming?"
What's she up to?
Brad looked at her for a long moment before answering warily. "No. I want to rest a bit. I still feel jet legged."
"I'll text you the details just in case you change your mind." She backed away to where she emerged.
"How did you..."
"See you around, doctor," and she disappeared.

"Rosaline Paige, you're going to the doctor right now!" Priska's voice was high and panicked.
Rosaline groaned in her pillow. "Fine, I'll go! You don't have to yell!"
"If you don't get your behind off this bed in five minutes I'm going to do more than yell." Priska stalked to the door in her high heels. "Five minutes!"
After the door closed, Rosaline slowly dressed in a floral sundress and sandals, then shuffled to the living room where Priska and Susan waited.
"Ready!" She said to the two women in mock delight.
Priska took her elbow to lead her to her car while Susan appeared later with her handbag.

"What did the doctor say?" Priska got was on the verge of tears.
"You've got to talk to us, Rosaline."
She looked wearily at Priska and Susan. "I was given a shot and I'm so scared of needles. I'll be fine," she lied.
Susan and Priska both sighed loudly in relief.
"That's a relief. I was close to going out of my mind." Susan kissed Rosaline's cheek.
