Chapter 9

Harry shook me awake, and I groaned before turning around. "Nooo let me sleepppp..."

He giggled and pushed me off the bed. I landed with a hard thud and glared at him.

"Sowy Draco. Didn't mean to." He smirked. He had his robes on. And when Xander crawled over to me, he did too.

"I'm staying here. I don't feel good." That was an under statement. Harry looked worried. "What's wrong? Are you sick?"

I feel more than sick. I'm going to loose you In a month and a half.... "Yeah..."

He helped my back on the bed and kisses my forehead. "Stay there. I'll tell the professors that your not feeling well. Ok?"

I just nodded, turning away from him and staring out the window. I heard him pick up a giggling Xander and walk out.

That's when I started crying again. Why is life so unfair?! I shouldn't have been a prat to him when we first met! I should have just said 'Hi! My name's Draco Malfoy! You must be Harry Potter and..." And let the other two introduce themselves. But nooo I didn't.

I curled into a ball and cried myself to sleep.

"-aco. Draco. DRACO!" Someone yelled in my ear. I jumped and was about to smack them when I saw it was Harry.

"Jeez Harry. Scared me half to death." I sat up and rubbed my eyes as he giggled. "Sorry Draco. I was trying to get you up for the last thirty minutes. I have awesome news!"

"Hm? What is it?" I looked at him to see he had a huge smile and holding Xander tight to him. "We get to keep Xander! I talked McGonagall to let us keep him!"

I smiled hugely and hugged him. He hugged back, and we both cried tears of joy while Xander giggled.

I help him close to my chest. "You are the best Harry. I love you." And then I froze. Everything seemed to stop. All I could hear was Xander crying and Harry passed out on the floor.

"HARRY!"

I paced back and forth while I waited to see what was wrong. Just then Hermine and Ron ran in.

"What did you do to him Malfoy!" Ron growled, grabbing the collar of my shirt. "Nothing! All I did was tell him I loved him!"

Hermine gasped. "He likes you too! If you say that to someone under the speel, then they will pass out, have a fever, and three to four days will wake up normally!"

I couldn't believe it. We get to keep Xander and Harry loves me! Thank Merlin!

Speaking of Xander, he was on the floor playing with his bear. "Aww he's so cuteee!" Hermine said and picked him up.

"He looks just like you and Harry." Ron said, looking at me and then back at Xander.

"Yeah. He is cute. And I don't know why he does. I just thought he would look like a regular baby. Not that I'm complaining or anything."

Just the Madam Pomfrey came in, smiling. "He just had a minor fever. It will go away shortly. You may go in now."

I smiled a huge smile and ran in to see him sleeping soundly. He is so cute. I pulled a chair next to his bed and held his hand.

Just then he stirred and his eyes fluttered open. I held my breath as he looked at me.

"M-malfoy...?" I smiled a small smile.

I thought he would do the same, but he pulled his hand away from mine and looked at me with disgust.

"Get the hell out Malfoy!"

Oof. Poor Draco. I feel bad for him
