Chapter 5

That evening at the bar I got out of the staff room and saw a now familiar face at the counter, Levi.

"(Y/N), come here", he called me

"Why does he want to talk to you?", (F/N) asked.

"I don't know but I don't like that, that I know"

"Don't be rude, please"

"After today, I try my best"

"After today?"

"Long story, I tell you some other time"

I walked to Levi and addressed him.

"What do you want Mr. CEO?"

"I want to talk to you"

"About what? Again the article I assume.. I already told you, I don't mix my jobs, you have to wait until I'll be at the SC for my next interview or when I'm in the office"

"I do not want to talk about the article"

"Then what?", I asked harshly

"Can we talk more privately, please?"

"alright, come with me"

I went to the staff room and told (F/N) that I don't want to be bothered. She was confused but didn't ask why, after all she knows now that I kind of hate this guy.

"So, what do you want?", I asked harshly

"I'm interested in you, not like that but..."

"But what?"

"Nobody ever talked to me like that and I'm curious where this comes from"

"So you want to know me bather?", I asked ironic, "That's even bather than mixing my jobs, mixing business and privacy and that from the CEO of SC. I think this isn't very professional"

"Well call me when you change your mind", he hands me a card with only a phone number on it, then he leaves the staff room and went to the counter again to order his coffee. When I went outside (F/N) called me, that I need to go on stage.

The band and me started our cover of "Freedom '90", by George Michael. After some own songs and some other covers I went off stage and got some customers to get their orders.

While preparing the orders I saw that Levi still sat at the counter.

"Why still here? You talked to me as you wanted."

"First of all, I already told you to watch your tongue, second I also already asked you, do you want that I leave my money somewhere else?"

"No we don't want that, I excuse (Y/N), she sometimes gets on everyone's nerves", (F/N) jumped in.

"It's okay, it is fascinating to hear someone talking to me like this", he said.

What's that? Now (F/N) will think there is something between him and me. But I must admit, that he kind of is good looking.

"Oh, well than", (F/N) leaves to get some orders

"Why did you tell her that?", I asked with a frown.

"It is true"

"Well I don't like, that she knows that!"

"That's not my problem"

"I have to go", I said and went on stage

"You don't have to play (Y/N)", (F/N) told me

"I know but I want to, I need to calm down"

"You heard her, she needs to calm down", (F/N) told the rest of the band

So they started "You're gonna go far kid" switched to "Pain" over to "Wolf in sheep's clothing" and ended with "One woman army".

After that some of the regulars asked what happened this time, 'cause they know that I always perform this songs in this order when I need to calm down.

Levi noticed that and asked if I got pissed by him.

"Obviously, if you're asking me after the other customers asked me what happened and (F/N) said I need to calm down" I said now more calmly.

"I liked your performance this time"

"You what?"

"you heard me correctly. You did not sway this time and your hair did not fall in your face. And everything"

"You are a little perfectionist, very interesting"

"What if it is so?"

"Oh, nothing", I went off with an evil smirk on my face to go back to work.

I think I have something to do, I think I can use this for my article.

After the last performance of the day I jumped off the stage and went behind the counter. There I started to drink my favorite drink (F/D).

"Alcohol at this time of day?", I heard a familiar voice, Levi.

"Problem with that? I only have two hours left, most guests are gone, the regulars know that I do this almost every day here, so I don't give a fuck"

"Well, than. Would you mind giving me another coffee?"

"Why just drinking coffee in a bar?", I asked while I pure him a new cub.

"I do not drink alone and you also should not."

"I'm not alone here, this is a bar, so you aren't as well."

"If you say so"

"Well yeah, I think so"

30 minutes before closing only Levi, (F/N) and me are left at the Tree Broomsticks.

"Would you mind asking him to leave, please?", (F/N) asked me

"No, why should I? And why do you even ask?"

"Oh, just... It seems like you two get along very well"

"Naa, I just write an article about SC Healthcare and he is the CEO"

"WHAT? We have such an important guest here and he even doesn't care when you talk to him like trash?", she asked shocked

"Seems so. I'm going to close for you again if you'd like to go now."

"You are the best (Y/N)", she said while going out the bar

I walked up to Levi.

"Looks like it is just the two of us again", Levi mentions.

"Well yeah, because we are going to close"

"So I guess I should go then"

"You have 20 minutes left"

"Then I'd like to talk to you"

"Again?"

"Yes, but this time I don't accept a no to me wanting to know you bather"

"Well you already learned something 'bout me today, when I'm really pissed I sing to calm down"

"You also drink when you are done with work"

"I only drink one glass, and not every day", I roll my eyes, "but I don't know anything 'bout you, Levi"

"You do know the important thing"

"That you are an arrogant asshole with no emotions?"

"No, that I am the CEO of the place you are writing about and that I can ruin your career as a journalist"

"Well that's not even my dream job"

"Then why is it so important to you to write that article?"

"To get money for my dream, that I'll never reach", I said looking at the stage.

"Than what is your dream?"

"None of your business, care more about your company and the article I'm gonna write, which will show you what I'm made of"

"I'm curious", he said grapping his coat and leaving.
