(Third POV)

As the usual members of the Ratatoskr are gathered a little red haired girl decided to read on old reports of combat made from the AST and DEM about battle with spirits. she decided to open Combat Report #127

Combat Report #47 [AST]

We were tasked to take down the spirit code named "Hazard" in [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] hours. the spirit have been confirmed to only be an A rank spirit. as we were approaching the LZ we have a signal of spirit energy being left behind but no signs of said spirit, only the destruction it made with its Spatial Quake. Whilst we were searching the signal for a Spatial Quake was ringed on our gear, we took off to the skies to see what was happening only to see a man in full black with a smoking desert eagle on his left arm aiming at ground zero of the Spatial Quake from 100 or so Meters away. then said spirit appeared right as the bullet was traversing through the air and hitting her in the abdomen and not doing any damage on her as if the bullet it self was a rubber bullet. then another bullet came and went directly to her head. reports of my comrade was that he held a smoking .44 Magnum on his right hand. when we tried to apprehend the man in black he suddenly disappeared from our sights and we didn't even find him using our high tech instruments. but we have recordings of him, its in [REDACTED] you can go and ask for them to give it to you

As she finished reading Report #47 she picked up another report and started reading again

Combat Report #68 [DEM]

Our squadron was fighting a spirit named [REDACTED] when the spirit decided to use its trump card, I don't even know if it was its trump card or not but it took out most of us and rendering my gear completely useless as it was torn to pieces. It started to walk towards me as I was defenceless. suddenly a member of my squadron, Maria. decided to distract her using her self as the distraction, at that moment I knew what she wanted me to do, But I disobeyed. I grabbed my sword and went for a stab to the spirits abdomen but before it even reached her abdomen the spirit used Maria as a meat shield making me stab her, luckily she's alive or I would have killed my self from the guilt. anyway after I unintentionally stabbed her the spirit raised its sword and went to slice my body in half before the spirit even had time to swing there was already a hole in her head then I saw a man on top of a roof holding a what seemed to be a Magnum, I can't confirm because of my angle and the blood I had on my face. Then at that moment I forgot about everything, called evac and comforted Maria

after she finished reading Report #68 she quickly grabbed another Combat Report. it went on for 2 hours of just her reading Reports after Reports until one stood out to her

Combat Report #118 [AST]

A dispatch of the scout team reported of sightings of code name "Nighmare" walking into a park, once we heard of this intel we dispatched every personel we had available on targeting "Nightmare". when they reached the LZ all they saw was bodies upon bodies of the scout team. then they stumbled upon "Nightmare" Standing near the main fountain of the park. at that point the dispatched teams opened fire. after 30 seconds of continuous fire they were able to identify the bullet hole filled body of "Nightmare" when they were about to fly away multiple copies of "Nightmare" appeared from the shadows of the dead and started shooting at the dispatched team. half of them was wiped out whilst some only taking minor injuries. then one of the members saw a man in full black appear. from the previous Combat Reports the team had read they deduced that he was friendly as on previous Reports, then reality hit them. the man in black started shooting at their gear rendering them unable to fly making them easy target for nightmare. some switched targets from "Nightmare" to the man in black only to be shot by "Nightmare" this cycle continued till everyone of them is dead. then the man approached "Nighmare"

"I told you not to get too much attention on yourself" said the man whilst holdstering his pistols

"Why? I was only here to grab some snack and gain some more time" "Nightmare" said whilst holding her flintlock pistol sideways

"Getting more time, I can turn a blind eye on that one. but killing more than 50 AST troops on one session. I can't tolerate that" The man sternly said as if he was a father and "Nightmare" was his daughter

"Oh come on, its only AST" she said trying to reason with him

"you are jeopardizing the mission" he said

"Fine, fine. I'll try not to actively hunt AST and DEM. only if they go after me then I can use them as snacks. Happy?" she said with a twitching eyebrow on the last part

"Yes, Very. now go along now" He said as if telling her to go away

"Yeah, yeah. Old Man" She said with a smug look

"Back at you. Gothic Lolita" He fired back. both of them twitching from irritation. before "Nightmare" left the scene

"Oh, I can't forget about you though" He said as he turned around to the last surviving member of the dispatched AST who turned on a live broadcast at the start of the fight

"I'll make it as painless as possible" He said before pulling out his .44 magnum and shooting her in the head whilst mouthing "Arrivederci" as he shot her head he also shot the recording camera which turned off the live broadcast

After she finished reading the Report she unintentionally said out loud for the other member of the Ratatoskr crew to hear

"He's going to be an issue if not taken out. Hopefully the AST or DEM have a report of his death. Code name "Black Plague". You are a thorn on all of our side, just like her."
