Avni: neil stop it and behave urself... she whispered

Neil: y princess is something happening to u

Avni: nothing is happening to me she said looking at him this time but
looked away after few seconds as she couldn't bare the intense gaze...

However his gaze broke away from her face when riya and vijay got the attention of everyone

Riya: hello everyone  today my jiji avni and friend juhi who is also like a sister to me got engaged to the most amazing dashing guys ever... (all smiled when she said that and waited for her to continue).. But now its mine and vijay bhai turn where we r gone do a dance performance for u and after there is going to be a surprise which u all would love so stay tuned guys... vijay bhai u ready

Vijay: of course riya...

soon the light went off and two spots lights came on which focused on vijay and riya  but then all of a sudden riya disappeared and now the main light focused on vijay only...

Vijay avni and juhi this is for u..

Aman: we hope u like it

with that he moved away while a projector turned on at the back which was showing pictures of juhi and avni when they were small till grown up while the images were changing in the back vijay  and aman started to dance on   Taaron Ka Chamakta

all the elders had tears in their eyes. While juhi and avni were touched and gave a flying kiss to vijay who was still performing. Once he had finished everyone clapped for him and soon riya came back

Riya: im sure some of u were surprised to see vijay bhai performing like this and Im sure u all got a little emotional coz even I did but don't worry coz now I will perform along with ali...

All clapped as ali joined Riya on the stairs

Once the dance was completed

vijay: k now as we done our performances  now comes the surprise and the surprise is that vidyut and neil have to perform for their girls so come on u two and start ur performance...

neil and vidyut smirked and went up the stage and took their position...

neil started to sing first few line followed by vidyut and while singing they were looking at avni and juhi

the song they were dancing on soniye ve soniye from kissmat connection...

after few moves they went towards juhi and avni and also pulled them on the stage and all started to do the  same steps.

When the performance finished all clapped for the youngsters.

Avneil, vidyut and juhi were on the dance floor along with the other couples, dancing to a romantic tune while some where watching them while the others were talking...

Akash  and vijay bhai were talking to each other ..

juhi and vidyut were lost in each other while dancing...

Ali and riya were also in their own world

neil both hands were on avni's waist while her hand were on his shoulder both moving along with the music ..after few minutes neil pulled avni more closer to him making her gasp slightly while he smirked...

neil: princess?

Avni: hmmm

Neil: u remember something

Avni: remember what neil... she asked confusingly

Neil: our challenge princes that we had in the car remember when u me, juhi and riya went to shopping and ... avni tried to remember the incident and finally remembered the challenge that neil was talking about (the scene where avneil went shopping with juhi and riya )

Flashback
Neil: so princess we r heading to devgarh 2moz for ur ceremony and u know I cant wait coz we r going to be staying in the same mahal meaning u will be in front of me  hayee its going to be so fun..

Avni: so u think i will get to spend time with u  until we r in devgarh 24/7

Neil: right

Avni: sorry u r wrong even thought we will be in the same mahal it could be u don't see me

Neil: and y is that

Avni: neil don't forget that we decided that we r gone tell the family members about u propising and how we want to start the function from engagement and stuff

Neil: but princess what has that got to do with me not seeing u.

Avni: it does because it could be that u wont see me before getting married it's a tradition

Neily: princess I can see u whenever I want

Avni: no u cant

Neil: yes I can

Avni: no neil u cant

Neil: r u challenging me

Avni: nope but if u want to take it as a challenge then go ahead

Neil: fine princess i promise u that I will see u after our marriage preparation stays  no matter where we r, in devgarh ya Mumbai, and both were staring at each other

Juhi: sorry we kept u guys waiting' both came out of their staring session luckily juhi and j were settling in the car so they didn't see manveer staring at each other' avni looked out of the window while neil looked at avni for few seconds and started the car

End of flashback

Avni: so u still remember about ur so called challenge. She asked  giving him a smirk

Neil: yuvraj neil Khanna  never forgets anything princess he said smirking back at her

Avni: hmm well lets see how u will win the challenge

Neil: princess I will win plus our family have not spoken about any ritual where we cant see each other so there is a chance of me winning

Avni: whatever now let me go

Neil: come on princess spend some time with ur fiance.

Avni: neil I have already spent enough time with u plus i will forever & always be with u after marriage so don't u think I should spend time with others. She said giving him a naughty smile and left from the dance floor

neil looked at her for few seconds... then turned towards vidyut and juhi who were still dancing and the same was with aliya and headed towards vijay and akash ..

his eye searched for avni and saw her talking to sia but both seemed to be laughing about something...

sia gave a thumbs up to avni and left from there while avni headed towards him and the others...

she stood next to them while riya came towards her side and gave her a side hug as ali stood next to vijay after few secs  juhi and vidyut also joined them and all of them were busy talking while in between avni was giving neil naughty look making him suspicious... after a little while

avni: guys I'll just be back going to the wash room all nodded and avni left

after few minutes avni came out of the wash room and saw a rose on the bed with a letter and gift which read

" a rose for a beautiful lady who is looking gorgeous in this outfit but only for me"avni had a smile on her face and soon she could feel two hand around her waist and knew exactly who it was.

neil: so princess wont u open the gift... he said... his hands were around her waist hugging her from the back and rested his chin on her shoulder.

When avni was opening the gift all he was doing was looking at her expression and found a bigger smile forming.

avni: wow neil this is the best gift i just love it she said looking at the gift... it was a heart photo frame with their picture and text on the bottom saying forever & always.

neil: of course princess the gift would be the best after all its yuvraj neil khanna  idea...

avni turned around though she was still in his embrace as he didnt let go of her waist

avni: neil  this means u got it made specially. i like how u put forever & always... neil like this phrase  i promise i will be there with u forever & always.

neil: of course princess u r really special for me then the gift would have to be special too...

avni: so what do u want from me then

neil: u exactly know what i want he said moving closer to her and brushing his lips against avni soft lips ...as he did that he could feel her body stiffen a bit...

avni's one hand was clutching his sherwani while the other one was holding the photo frame tightly

both their eyes were closed and soon the distance between them was erased and got into an passionate kiss... avni needed air but neil was in no mood to let go of her and deepened the kiss... but after few minutes he let go of her as he could feel her almost out of breath. she turned her body sideways and was trying to breath normally when neil leaned towards her ear

neil: seriosuly princess when ever i kiss your lips it feel like im eating fruits because of your flavoured lip gloss i wonder how many more flavours u sill got he said kissing her ears and left the room...

avni opened her eyes as she had closed it when neil was speaking to her huskily making her shiver.

She smiled rembering his word and then looked at the frame and after placing the gift in her bag she headed downstairs.

Once the party finished neils and vidyut  family were still at the farmhouse sitting and talking when suddenly sia spoke

Sia: maa since these four are now going to get married don't u think we should start the ritual where the groom and bride don't see each other until they get married she said winking at avni who winked back at her which didn't go unnoticed by neil and now he knew y she was giving him that naughty smile.

Neil: sia don't u think that's old fashion now I mean in these day who does these types of rituals where groom and bride cant see each other... I don't think there should be these types of ritual...

neil stopped when he heard rithvic coughing and giving him a signal to stop talking. While the elders smiled...

Avni was trying to control her laugh seeing neil speak like that.

Avni: maa if u want to keep these type of traditional then we all r fine with it isn't it juhi.

Juhi: of course even I don't mind plus I think it will be fun.. vidyut and neil looked at juhi and avni and then at each other.

Vidyut: I would say neil is right.

Shweta: bebe, daya ma  I think we should have this ritual as we have been following
it for all these years isn't it she said looking at neela and rithvic mom who nodded their head in approval.

Dayawanti :haan shweta u right

Vijay: nani  what happens if the bride and groom do see each other

Bebe: beta if they do see each other before the marriage then its not a good sign.

Vijay: ohhh.

Dayawanti : anyways I think we should all get going its really late right now.

All nodded while going everyone started to move out...

neil gave avni an annoying looking while avni controlled herself and went towards neil

Avni: lets see how u win this challenge neil and with that she  was about to walk away when neil pulled her back.

Neil: I will princess and by bringing this ritual thing up through sia don't think u can win... beside I saw the looks u exchanged with sia princess ... plus the ritual of where we cant see each other will only start when the other function starts so till then I can see u as much as I want and will also see u after as well so see u tomorrow he said tracing her cheeks and left  left ...while avni was surprised that he knew it was her plan.

Next morning

Avni was about to turn the other way when she felt some type of weight on her body she slowly opened her eyes to find riya sleeping peacefully resting her head on avni chest and hands around her waist... avni was wondering how riya got into her room...

she turned her head towards the wall to see the time was 7:45am... though she knew she had to get ready but still felt like sleeping... she moved riya carefully to make sure not to disturb her sleep as she aman and vijay had worked very hard to organise the engagement function...

Avni walked to her wardrobe and pulled out something to wear and went to freshen up...

after 30 mins she came out and brushed her hair leaving it down and kissed riya on the forehead before leaving her room...

when she came down she saw neela, daya and diksha  talking... they all smiled at her a soon nd she took her place next to neela

Dayawanti : beta u should have rested u still seem tired.

Avni: woh dadi I thought of resting more but then I remembered doctor uncle said he was going to show me some important papers so I didn't want to be late

Dayawanti : but beta doctor saab will come in the afternoon till then u can rest if u want

Avni: no dadi its k im fine.

Neela: seema ji can u go and wake princess riya and prince vijay and aman  please

seema ji was about to go but avni  stopped them

Avni: maa let them sleep we all r tired but they r more tired than us as they worked very hard to organise everything for the engagement

Dayawanti; avni is right neela let them both sleep.

Avni: maa where did paa go

Neela: beta he had a meeting so he went to attend that...avni nodded

soon all finished having breakfast and went and sat in the hall

avni sat next to diksha resting her head on her shoulder... while diksha was caressing her hair lovingly

Avni: bua sa when is Hansmukh uncle (diksha husband) coming she asked with her eyes closed..

diksha looked at avni for a sec and then looked at neela and daya who was looking at her

Diksha: don't know beta... avni opened her eyes and sat properly looking at diksha

Avni: y? I mean u do speak to him every day... didn't u ask him when he is coming...  last time he came I remember was 8 years ago.

Diksha: beta he said he is very busy and he wants to come but work is not allowing him

Avni: hmmm but then y don't u and vijay bhai go and see him plus u will get a good vacation right dadi.

Diksha: so u don't want me to stay for ur wedding...dekha babhi she said to neela who slightly smiled.

Avni: arien of course I want u in my wedding but I also want u to spend some time with uncle

Diksha: but I want to spend time with my gudiya because soon she will leave this palace with her prince charming... Now no more discussion on this.. I will be back. Avni nodded while neela and data looked at diksha retreating back...

After few minutes riya  came down still rubbing her eyes and sat down

Avni: riya did u wake up u should have rested

Riya" I did but I didn't find u in the room so I thought of waking up

Neela: what do u mean

Avni: maa she was sleeping in my room last night

Neela: but riya I saw u going to ur room

Riya: haan but at night I felt thirsty so I came down to get some cold water and because avni jiji room comes before mine I thought of going to her room and slept there.

Neela: beta do u want anything to eat

Riya: no mom I want only coffee.

Neela: k wait I will go and tell seema ji...

neela left while riya nodded...after having coffee riya felt better

Avni: dadi I will be back...

Dadi: ok beta.

eil came along with shweta and juhi and vijay also came down as he had woken up that time... while juhi was talking to riya ...neil excused himself and went looking for avni... he didn't ask anyone as he knew they will tease him... he finally went to the garden and saw avni looking around with a tensed face

neil: avni what happened y r u standing
over here

avni: neil i saw someone go from here

neil: it might have been a servant

avni: neil a servant doesnt cover them self with a shawl and run away

neil: k I'll go and find out but please u dont worry k he said cupping her
face... avni nodded

neil went away to talk to the security guard while avni walked inside to see everyone chit chatting

neil walked in and reassured avni that everything is fine... but her heart for some reason was warning her.

soon juhi started to tell her about how things are going in hospital which made her to forget about the unknown stranger... though she missed the signal neil was giving vijay... both walked away outside

neil: vijay banna avni saw someone in the palace garden who had a shawl around to cover his/her face

vijay: what! how can that be I mean there are security guards everywhere  ... I will go and talk to the security guard

neil: no need vijay baana I have spoken to them and they said nobody came.

Vijay: this is ridiculous ...wait wait there is only one way the person got in and u exactly know from where

Neil: and that is from the back... I swear vijay bhai if this is that person who called avni that day then it wont be good.

Vijay: neil banna I will go tell the security head to put some guard at the back.

Neil: ok but don't mention about this to anyone right now.

Vijay nodded and went away.

Neil made a quick call to find from dd to see what is taking him so long to find out about the person... after cutting the call he headed to where vijay was and after both headed inside...

as they went inside neil searched around but he couldn't find avni around... he was about to ask but before he could speak vijay spoke up

Vijay: neela mami where is avni.

Neela: beta she is in the study room with doctor saab

Vijay: oh yeah doctor uncle was going to show some important papers to her I'll go and see...

Neil: vijay banna I will come too... vijay nodded...

both reached to the study room and saw avni lost into reading some papers while doctor saab was explaining something to her...

neil and vijay sat on the couches after few minutes vijay went near doctor saab and was looking at the papers that was scattered on the table... while avni was still unaware that they were in the room but then after a while she felt someone gazing at her... she knew who it was and turned around to see neil staring at her... avni gave him a smile and went back to reading the papers though she still could feel his gaze on her back which she tried to ignore... after few minutes

Avni: doctor uncle I have gone through the documents and signed them she said it handing it to him.

Doctor uncle: teek hain avni beta mahraj Ashish and Mahraj Prakash wanted you to discuss about jaighar and devgarh riysaat with neil and what changes you can bring so that you can get an idea on how things works. Neil beta I hope u have bought the required information about jaighar and devgarh.

eil: yes doctor uncle I have and I will explain it very well to princess. He said coming near avni and sitting on the chair besides her.

Vijay: doctor uncle lets go and leave these two too alone.. doctor saab nodded and both left.

Avni: neil show me the file... she said asking for the file which was in neils hand.

Neil: princess how about we discuss about this somewhere else where its only us two

Avni: y what difference would it make if we discuss it here. She said raising her eyebrows.

Neil: come on princess u don't seem to be that innocent as u  very well know what im hinting at. Otherwise I don't mind sharing some romantic moments with u over here but then the thing is someone might disturb us.

Avni: neil stop being naughty and lets do some work. She said snatching the file from neil,

Neil: you do your work and I'll do mine and with that he turned avni chair towards him and pulled her on his lap
Avni: neil please leave me someone will come.

Neil: I told u lets go somewhere else but u didn't listen to me now suffer. He  started to nuzzle her neck moving to her jawline after few seconds while his hands caressed her waist .he inhaled deeply on her sensitive spot making her take a deel breath

avni pushed his hands away from her waist with a lot of difficulty and stood up moving few steps back.

Avni: neil u r so besharam and with that she moved out of the study room while neil smirked seeing that small blush on her cheeks...

soon he came out and was sitting down when he saw avni sitting next to juhi and both were talking. Avni could feel neil gaze on her and she turned to look at him and found him pointing his fingers on his lips... avni glared at him as if telling him to behave.
