Loki the almighty godfather

Again just a promt

*knock*  *knock*  *knock*

The door opened revealing two middle class parents with a baby in a carriage.

"What is this?" Loki asked staring at the child.

"Well it turns out we actually made you the godfather to our baby girl" they replied. The parents handed Loki the carriage and dipper bag stating they were going out for the night and left Loki with the child all night.

At first he just stared at the small misgardian until the first cry erupted out of her small mouth.

He did all he could to quiet the child and ended up looking online finding that he either had to feed or change the child.

Looking through the bag he found a note, dippers and formula for the child. Grabbing for the food first, he tried to feed her like the internet showed him but she refused and cried louder.

He then realized he had to change her and grabbed a dipper thing and followed what the internet also showed him.

Upon opening the dirty dipper he instantly gagged and back away out of pure fear. Using his magic he managed to change her from afar. She stoped crying and stared at his green magic.

Realizing the child was fascinated by the wispy greens he used more and she erupted in laughter which made him laugh as well.

He stared at her and picked her up. She had bright blue eyes and beautiful blonde hair.

Loki held her in his arms and read the note from the parents that said: "Hello Loki, as you've come to read this we're assuming she had a fit and came here for answers. Starting off, her name is Frigga, we hope you come to love her just as we do..." that's all it took to bring the god of mischief and lies to bring tears to his eyes.

Loki looked down at little Frigga and whispered, "I will love and protect you as you grow. And will continue to love you as you grow old and eventually pass on." He kisses the top of her small head and they both fell asleep.

Loki kept his promise until she gave her last breath. He would not lie to anyone who asked when he said he cried when she passed on. For she became the only one to keep him sane over the short Midgard lives.
