Obsession Series #1: Light Nio Rodriguez

Prologue

"Give me the tools, now." I hurriedly said and they handed me the tools needed in the operation. I hope this operation will be successful, isang pagkakamali mo lang hindi na maisasalba pa ang buhay.

Nabunutan kami ng tinik ng successful ang operation. Another achievement again, saving life. Thanks God for the strength.

"We did it, Dr. Sanchez." One of my team announced. "Let's give each other a round of applause for this achievement!" And we all clapped our hands and the smiles on our faces can't be fade off.

"Yeah, thanks for the help teammates. After all, it won't succeed without y'all." I then smiled to them. It wouldn't succeed without their cooperation after all like what I've said to them.

Hapon na nung off ko. Finally, I can rest already. Sobrang napagod ako kahit sanay na ako sa larangang pinasukan ko. Nag inat muna ako habang naglalakad papuntang parking kung saan nakaparada ang kotse ko and after a while, I drove my car papunta sa bahay at namahinga sandali.

I woke up dahil sa tunog ng cellphone ko. It's Mom who's calling so I answered it. "Hello Mom" I said almost yawning.

"If I'm not mistaken kakagising mo lang, sweetie" She then laugh with humor.

"Yeah Mom, ginising mo ako." I pouted kahit hindi naman niya nakikita. Manggising ba naman.

"Nangangamusta lang, Eli." I know. Tatawag lang naman yan sina mom at dad pag nangangamusta.

"I know mom, and I'm great as usual. Ikaw ho ba? kayo dyan ni daddy kamusta na?"

"We're still breathing haha. Anyways sweetie, I have to end this call may meeting pa ako." Pagpapaalam ni mom. "Alright mom, bye and take care always, kayo dyan ni Dad. I love you!"

"Aww my sweetie is so sweet. Yeah, yeah Eli, I love you too darling. Bye!" She then ended the call

The scent of manly perfume filled my nose. I can't help but to sniff the scent, it's so very familiar. I then look to the person. Uminit bigla ang dugo ko at kinuyom ang mga palad. What is he doing here? I rolled my eyes as a I looked at him.

After breaking my goddamn heart, He still had guts to show his freaking face to me? He kidnapped me for pete's sake.

"What are you doing here?" I asked gritting my teeth at nakakuyom ang mga palad.

"I have friend who was confined here whom I want to visit, that's why. And if you'll excuse me, I have to go." He said with a ghost of smile plastered on his face. Argh! That kind of smile! He's so freaking jerk!

Tumango nalang ako, medyo nahihiya sa biglaang reaksyon ko. Pero kahit na ganun ang naging usapan namin, jerk pa rin siya at hindi iyon mababago kailan man.

Nakaalis na siya pero ito ako, nakatayo pa rin. Napahiya pa ako, shit! napaka ilusyunada ko kasi.
