Project Bloodbath

Part 2: The First Mission

The morning after 3 days of training with Lieutenant John.

"Yo Caleb! Would you mind doing my tasks for me?!" A trainee asked.

"And why should I?" I asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Do it or I'll smack your face newbie!" He shouted with a pissed off face.

"Caleb, I haven't introduced you to the others, you might wanna act normal." John said.

"Who and why?" I asked.

"My other trainees. If they treat you as something lower than them, just don't mind them. They are a pain in the ass to be honest." He added with a disrelief on his face.

"How so?" I added.

"You'll find it out..." He said.

"Tch. Fine, give it to me." I said.

"Hah! Do it or I'll tell that Lt. John that you are slacking off." The trainee said.

Like hell I'd care.

I took his tasks and while doing his duty.

"Caleb? What are you doing here?" John asked as he saw me doing the trainee's task.

"Isn't this Isaac's duty, where is he?" He added.

"Well you know, he is slacking off at that tree over there." I answered while pointing out the tree.

"I'll give him a lesson. Would you mind continue his task for a sec." He said while cracking his knuckles.

"Heh, I'd be delighted." I said.

As I continue doing his task, I heard him screaming "sorry" while getting smacked by John.

The day ended.

"Caleb! I'LL KILL YOU FOR TELLING LT. JOHN!" Isaac shouted with a very pissed off and bruised face as he grabs my shirt.

"Lt. John foun--" I said but got interrupted by John.

"I found him doing your duty and he just pointed you out slacking off on the tree when I asked where were you, that's all." John said with a straight look at Isaac.

"I-I--" Isaac tries to talk but got interrupted by John.

"-I have an announcement to everyone, that I should have said before." He said as he looks at me.

"This young man, Caleb. He is the one with the superhuman strength and I doubt no one ever heard of it yet!" He shouted.

Everyone was speechless even Isaac looked at me with a scared look.

"But don't worry, I wont pay you guys back after what you guys have done to me..." I said with a smug face.

Everyone dropped on their knees with their frightened face and apologized to me.

"On behalf of everyone, including myself for putting shame over ourselves, our names... Please forgive us!" Isaac shouted with an anguished face.

"Now now, let's continue our practice, shall we?" I said with a relieved face.

Two days have passed.

The last day of training with Lt. John.

I went out of the cabin.

"Good mornin' Caleb!" Isaac and the other trainees greeted me outside my cabin.

"Hey, this is the last day of training so LET'S GIVE IT ALL WHAT WE'VE GOT!!" The other trainee shouted.
