So it's been a while since I've been adopted and I love it way better than being a foster kid. I get less scared at night than before because I would think that someone would come take me away from this amazing family. Now no one can do that because I am a part of their family now.
2 MONTHS BEFORE SCHOOL
Hey everyone get up it's time to go shopping for school Jessica says.
I don't get up and everyone else does.
Then Jessica comes in my room with Jose.
She sets Jose down on my bed and Jose crawls up to me and starts pulling my hair and patting my face.
Ok, ok I'm up, I'm up I say.
Good because we get to get you a backpack Jessica says.
Really I say happily.
Yes of course every two years I get the kids new backpacks and well it's your first year with us and also it's the year to buy the rest of them new backpacks too Jessica says.
I get up and get dressed.
