"Geez, Edie, I didn't know you had such a commanding side," you exclaim, taken aback by your friend's assertiveness. Edie stands tall, placing her hands on her hips, clearly determined. "Well, I'm not going to let my sister miss out on a chance just because you're hesitant," she asserts with conviction.

Feeling a sense of defeat, you finally relent. "Okay, fine, I'll take action," you concede, realizing that arguing further won't get you anywhere. Edie smiles triumphantly, satisfied with the outcome. "Good. Now, tell me everything about how you met this guy," she declares, leaning against the wall.

You proceed to recount the story of how you encountered Todoroki, explaining the circumstances leading up to your meeting. As you share the details with Edie, you notice her giving you curious and puzzled looks. "Wait, so you're telling me that you were fighting an S-class villain all by yourself?" Edie asks, her concern evident in her voice.

"Yes, that's exactly what happened," you reply, slightly annoyed, as you rub the bridge of your nose with your fingers. Despite Edie's reaction, you continue explaining, eventually reaching the part about helping the little girl at the park. Edie's expression softens as she listens intently. "Awww, so you two helped a little girl reunite with her dad? That's really sweet," she remarks.

"Yeah, we did," you reply, a hint of warmth in your voice. Edie raises an intriguing possibility, her finger touching her chin in contemplation. "Maybe Todoroki becomes cold when he's actually flustered," she suggests, offering a new perspective.

You consider her words carefully. "Well, that could be it," you acknowledge, intrigued by the idea. Edie's advice resonates with you, and you realize that being friends with Todoroki might help unravel his enigmatic behavior.

"Okay, I'll take your advice and just be friends with him. I'll observe if he continues to act cold when he's flustered," you affirm, feeling a newfound determination. As you reflect on the conversation, you can't help but express your confusion. "By the way, Edie, I've never seen you so invested in my love life, even when I talked about my past boyfriends," you remark curiously.

Edie chuckles, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "Well, this guy isn't like any of your ex-boyfriends, is he?" she teases. You respond with a smile, realizing that Edie might be onto something. This friendship with Shoto feels different, and perhaps that's what makes it worth exploring without any preconceived notions or expectations.

"You're ridiculous, Edie," you say, rolling your eyes as you stand up. Being taller than her by at least three inches, you look down at Edith with an affectionate gaze. Leaning over, you playfully ruffle her hair before enveloping her in a warm hug. Edith buries her face in the crook of your neck, finding comfort in your embrace. "No, you are, sis," Edie retorts, but you squeeze her tighter, wanting to convey your love for both of them. "We both are," you say softly, running your fingers through Edith's hair, cherishing the moment.

Suddenly, a voice interrupts the intimate moment, slyly breaking the silence. You glance up and see Josui leaning against the doorway, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. Instantly, your face flushes with heat, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and annoyance. "It's nothing, Josui. We were just having a conversation about girl stuff," you respond curtly, trying to dismiss his intrusion.

Josui, however, refuses to let it slide. He leans in, eager for the truth. "You're lying. I know you too well to let you get away with that excuse. You weren't just talking about 'girl stuff'. That's bullshit. Now tell me what you were really discussing," he demands, a glimmer of excitement in his eyes.

You let out a frustrated sigh, feeling cornered. "Edie, Edith," you exclaim in a flustered tone. Edie, still embracing her cute Lolita persona, chimes in, "Big brother, we were talking about Shoto." Josui's smirk widens as he realizes the nature of the conversation. "Is that so?" he announces, reveling in the revelation.

Your embarrassment reaches new heights as you scream, "Edith!" Clearly, the secret is out now. Edie, with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, adds in the same voice as before, "Sis, we have to tell him." Resigned, you groan and flop back down onto the bed, preparing yourself for the inevitable revelation of your discussion about him.

"Okay, so he's that kind of guy," Josui remarks, offering his insight. Confused, you inquire, "What do you mean?" Josui confidently replies, "He's the type to hide his feelings, act cold all the time, and slowly reveal his true personality once you break down his walls. Trust me, I've dated guys like that too many times to count. I know what I'm talking about," he adds, adopting a playful and sassy tone, typical of a gay best friend.

"Oh, and you've dated some guys like that too, you just didn't notice it because they were 'hot bad boys,'" Josui continues, gesturing with his hand for emphasis. Baffled, you ask, "Wait, which ones?" Josui nonchalantly replies, "Zane, Hunter, and Ryder." You're taken aback, realizing that you never paid much attention to their behavior. "Huh, I guess I never really noticed. But whatever, let's not dwell on the past," you say, shuddering at the memories. "As long as they're nothing like my ex-girlfriends, it's fine."

"Yeah," the others chime in unison, their guilt evident as they cast their gazes downward. "Those guys were all toxic and controlling. It's frustrating when someone brings them up. They bring back memories that I'd rather not think about. They hurt Josui so deeply that it even affected Edie and me. And as for my ex-girlfriends, God, no. I never want to go back to that place. I never want to be in the same situation they put me in," you reflect, a mixture of frustration and determination coursing through you. "Anyway, let's just focus on other things," you declare, eager to shift the conversation to more positive topics

After the heartfelt moment of reconciliation with Josui, you both step back from the embrace, a sense of understanding and connection lingering in the air. "Thanks, Josui," you say sincerely, appreciating his willingness to forgive and embrace you. He gives you a warm smile in return. "No problem, y/n. We're family, after all," he replies, his eyes filled with genuine affection.

As you make your way back to your room, you find Edie waiting, a playful grin on her face. "So, are we all good now?" she asks, her voice filled with hope. You nod, a smile spreading across your face. "Yeah, we're all good. Thanks, Edie," you say, acknowledging her role in fostering the bonds between you and Josui.
