We step outside, joining the group of boys gathered there. Mr. Aizawa explains that even on the first day, we might undergo a Quirk assessment instead of a traditional orientation. Ochaco expresses her concern, but Mr. Aizawa dismisses it, emphasizing the limited time we have.To demonstrate the assessment, Mr. Aizawa allows Bakugo to use his Quirk to throw a softball, illustrating the upcoming activities. He then proceeds to explain the tests we'll be participating in.
"The first test is the 50-meter dash," Mr. Aizawa announces. You confidently position yourself at the starting line, ready to showcase the speed. The speedometer beeps, signaling the start. You use the water in my body to create a huge wave behind me. You ride the wave like a surfer. After you cross the finish line, then absorb the water back into your body.
"3.75 seconds," the speedometer declares, confirming my exceptional performance.
Filled with exhilaration, I can't help but express my satisfaction. Bakugo, however, dismisses it as showing off. I retort, clarifying that I'm merely utilizing my Quirk's capabilities.
The assessments continue as you observe others completing the tests. Subsequently, you all gather inside a building to evaluate our grip strength. You confidently approach a grip tester, aware that my Quirk grants me innate super strength akin to that of Leviathan's. It's both a blessing and a curse, as controlling such power requires great responsibility.
You firmly grasp the grip tester, applying my enhanced strength, and await the results.
You cast a quick glance at the grip tester, and to your dismay, it displays an astonishing weight of 1000 kg. "Damn it, I overdid it this time," you mutter under your breath. The bubble-headed kid beside you can't help but exclaim, "Holy crap, she got 1000 kg!" Deep down, you can't help but despise the situation. "Show off," Bakugo shouts, clearly irritated. With a touch of annoyance, you retort, "Oh, shut up, Bakugo."
A quick timeskip takes us to the softball test.
"Alright, time to exercise some restraint," you whisper to yourself, determined not to let your strength get the better of you. You prepare to throw the softball, reminding yourself to hold back. The moment it leaves your hand, you realize you've miscalculated once again. The softball soars an incredible distance of 2000 meters. "Ay Caramba. Why does karma have to be such a pain?" you mutter, frustrated by the consequences of your immense power.
Feeling a mixture of embarrassment and regret, you try to avoid eye contact as you make your way over to Momo. Sensing your disappointment, she offers a sympathetic comment. "You overdid it," she says. With a sigh, you reply, "I know. I tried to restrain myself, but my Leviathan strength took control."
Curiosity glimmers in Momo's eyes as she asks, "Are any of your body parts showing signs of your Leviathan?" You nod in response and slowly uncover your hand, revealing a faint transformation.
Concerned, Momo suggests, "Do you want me to create a pair of gloves to conceal your hands?" Considering the offer, you contemplate for a moment before declining. "No, it's fine. I can manage to restrain my inner Leviathan," you respond, mustering a faint smile, determined to harness your power without compromising control.
After everyone finishes the softball test
The ranks are announced based on our performance, and you and Momo share the first-place spot, according to Mr. Aizawa. "A tie isn't so bad, but I still think I deserved first place," you jest. Momo playfully counters, "Well, you have an advantage with your quirk, so I should be the real winner since I don't have that advantage."
"Whatever you say," you retort with a smirk.
"At least we both got first place, so let's be happy about that," Momo suggests. "True," you agree, acknowledging the shared accomplishment. Glancing over at Midoriya, you notice his expression of shock. "He looks like he's seen a ghost, but I can understand why. Midoriya did end up in last place."
