Jason's pov
Hi, my name is Jason and I have to leave my school that I have been at for 3 years because my family moved to New York. I mean seriously, did they have to? It's so not fair. Anyway, my new school is in NYC, which is kinda cool I guess. My mom called me downstairs to finish unpacking. Ugh, this is what I hate about moving. After we finished unpacking, we decided to meet some people in the neighborhood. We met an elderly couple named Mr and Mrs Jacobs. They were ok, I suppose. Then there was that family with the 2 babies. Boy, were they loud. After that, we decided to go home.
The next morning I got up, then I remembered I had school today. Life is so not fair. I quickly got dressed before heading to school. When I got there I bumped into a familiar-looking girl. She looked up at me and gave me a glare. "Watch it, newbie." She said. "Geez, sorry," I muttered. "Whatever." She walked away. I watched her go, realizing who she was. Suddenly she turned around. "Why are you staring at me, you weirdo? She asked, glaring again. "How did you know I was staring at you?" "I don't know, I just did." She said. "Ok, bye." I turned to leave. "Wait! Why were you looking at me?" She called out. I ignored her and kept walking. "Come on Jason!" She yelled desperately. I spun around. "How do you know my name?" "Uhh..." She trailed off. "Come on Ally I thought you would have a better excuse than that," I smirked at the look on her face. "So you do remember me." She said, tears forming in her eyes. "Of course, I could never forget you." She suddenly ran off. "Wait!" I yelled.
It's not like I don't know why she ran away, I know what I did. But still, she was overreacting a bit. I mean, sure if you think accidentally knocking her best friend off a cliff was enough for her to break up with me then yeah, she wasn't overreacting. But I don't think it was that bad. It was on accident anyway. But nooooooo that was too much for her. I forgot she moved here after the incident. Anyway, I ran after her, people gave me weird looks, but can you really blame them? I was running down the sidewalk yelling and screaming at Ally. Not a normal sight. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" She yelled, suddenly stopping and turning to face me. "Listen Ally, I know you're mad at me, but you know it was an accident. I would never do that on purpose!" "I know," she looked at the ground, tears in her eyes. "It's just, you know I miss her. You of all people should know how much I miss her." "I do," I said, more gently. "I do, and I'm really, really sorry Ally." "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" I asked her. "Well, unless you can bring Eliza back to life then I don't think you can do anything." "Well I can't bring back the dead so I guess I'm screwed." I sighed. Then I checked my watch. Shoot. "We have to go to class now though." She turned around. Just then the bell rang. "Yeet!" She ran towards the school. I raced after her, but suddenly, a car came out of nowhere and slammed into me. The last thing I heard was a woman screaming and a baby crying. Then the world went black.
