Lizzy's POV
"Hey!!" I shouted at Joseph. I ran towards him and gave him a friendly and quick hug. Joseph's friends gave some looks at us. Just when I left all of them started to talk about me. Why am I that important to them? We were just friends after I got bullied.
Flashback
"YOUR SO STUPID!" said a boy. Another said, "YOUR SO UGLY THAT NOBODY WILL LOVE YOU!" The group started to laugh and point at me. I wanted to cry till Joseph walked in front of me with his arms crossed looking towards the boys. Joseph started to yell at the boys as the group left. He surprised me with a hug and I don't know why, but I felt so safe around him. I already knew that we were gonna be best friends.
End of Flashback
I left Joseph's group and went to my group as they also gave me the same look Joseph's group was making a me and him. "What?", I said in confusion.
"We know that you like him.", said one of the girls.
"Your funny, we're just friends! That's all!" I confessed.
"Surrrreeee." Another one said as if she were one of those stereotypical girls.
Joseph's POV
"Guys I can't tell her, what if she doesn't feel the same?!", I said in fear. "It doesn't matter! GROW SOME BALLS AND ASK HER!", the boys complained.
"Fine, but only at the right moment.", I whined. The guys started to cheer for him and I blushed a bit till I realized that I promised that I have to tell my feelings to Lizzy. Now I'm scared.
