But Now She Loves Me

Chapter 2

Lizzy's POV
As I was just doing my homework, I heard a buzzing noise coming from my phone. It was from Joseph. I unlocked my phone and read the message.

J: Hey..
L: What's up?
J: Wanna go to the park? I need to tell you something.
L: Why won't you just tell me now?
J: I need to tell you face to face.
L: Okay? I'll see you there.

I closed my phone and put my shoes on. I told my parents I was going to the park as they were okay with that. I saw that Joseph was already there so I ran to him and scared him. It's so adorable when he gets scared.
"JESUS! Lizzy!", yelled Joseph
"Sowwy..", I did the puppy dog eyes at him so he won't get mad. I heard him sigh, "Its okay.."
"Yay!!", I cheered and hugged him. But this wasn't a normal hug; Joseph hugged me longer than he usually did.
"Hey," I said, "are you okay Joseph?"
"Yea I'm fine.", he said as he cleared his voice. I'm very concerned now of what he is going to ask me.

Joseph's POV
"Um. Do you know any dating advice? I'm trying to um.. Ask a special girl out." I said. Lizzy was surprised of my words. "OMG!! YOU LIKE SOMEONE?", she yelled.
"Uh. Yea.."
"Who is it?"
"I'm not telling you.
"Come on!! I want to know!! Pwease!!"
"I can't tell you."
"At least give me a hint!"
"Okay, it's one of the girls in our class." I'm scared. At least she'll know. She kept guessing and guessing as I said no to each one. She only got to a quarter of the class. It was already sunset so I had to leave. We said our goodbyes and left. Once I got home I laid down on my bed and looked at the ceiling. She'll know someday. But then I won't know if she'll feel the same or not.
