I stretched out my arms, loosing up my muscles. The final battle shall take place in the woods. Both of us are starting on opposite sides of the forest, where the border of our ground starts. We had a few minutes left before the battle began. I gulped, tightening my grip on machete. That was my choose for close range combat, and a crossbow for far range. This might not be the best combination, but I have my reasons. Wait, am I shaking? Yep. Calm down (y/n)! Focus on th- When I was in the middle of my thought, a gun shot could be heard.....
The battle started. My feet started to move before I could even tell them what to do. I kelp making sharp turns, avoiding the trees. If I come straight at him maybe I could... I could get seen and he'll have the advantage. The pace slowed down. I shouldn't just go at this straight on, I need a reasonable plan.
Stopping in my tracks, I scanned my surroundings, trees, rocks, tall grass. One tree go my attention. The branches seemed easy to climb, and they seemed stable enough. Higher ground and out of sight. Perfect. I quickly waltzed up to the tree, grabbing the highest reachable branch. One after another, I went up higher. Each branch seemed to become less stable. In hopes to reach a near by branch to sit upon, I kept going. I was so close. Sadly, stepping onto a old branch, my left leg almost took me down with it. The only thing keeping me from falling was my death grip onto a think form branch. In desperate need to get in a safe situation, I used my strength to pull myself up. I got up to my chest, and my arms began to shake. Smoothly, in rested my chest onto the branch, pulling the rest of my body on too. Finally, I got into a sitting position, although I was very beat by just getting myself there. nd they seemed stable enough. Higher ground and out of sight. Perfect. I didn't even realise what was going on. Everything happened so fast. All I did was rest my eyes due to him being out of sight, but before I knew it, a hatchet came flying at me, missing me. However it took my by surprise so much, I slipped off the branch, being caught by some below it. I looked down to see no other than the ticking brunette himself. His mask was down, allowing you to see his crazed smile, stretched and twisted. His eyes looking directly at you. He was twitchy quite violently. Crap. I reached to my crossbow, but there was nothing! I looked near the trunk of the tree and saw my ranged weapon. To top it all off, the creaking of this branch is not a good sign. I need to think fast. I swiftly got out my machete, and jumped down. After three branches, I was half way down, but my foot slid from underneath me.I laid on the ground. Any movement I made caused pain to stuck my body. No, this is bad. I quickly grabbed the handle of my machete as a blade came into vision. I brought my weapon over my face, stopping Toby's hatchet from hitting me. He was aiming for my face! That bitch! With my little strength, I managed to push his hatchet away and out of his hand. I stood up, prepared for his next attack. He threw a punch....really? I tried dodge it, but the pain from the fall was too much. His punch did not help the pain. I clenched my arm, and before I could even reposition myself, his foot collided we my chest. Falling backwards, I hut the ground with a thud. I couldn't help but cough. I stared at the ground and noticed blood, blood that came right after I coughed. I turned my head to see Toby had his hatchet back, and he was in mid swing. I rolled over, avoiding his swing. I jumped up and grabbed him. Tackling him down I stabbed him below his shoulder. It was a softer area, allowing the blade to piece threw. I glanced at his face to see he didn't even flinch. Fuck! I forgot he's numb to pain! He used his hand to grab my neck and the other to swing into my side. I let out a gasp as the cool blade went into me. But what was wrist was when he pulled it out. Slowly and painfully. He rised and looked down upon me. A smirk plastered his face.
I can't be defeated again. No. They'll find me weak and give up on me. They won't help me then. No, no nonoono. What if they kill me? They'll kill me and my family will be under some maniacs control. I took a deep breath. I stood up, hand over my wound. He raised a brow. Slowly, he lifted his hand. Is he about to attack? Ready, I braised myself for attack..... Nothing happened. I opened my eyes and saw we weren't in the forest any more. What? I looked around and see that we stood in front of the mansion and was accompanied by the proxies and slender. Did he just end it? Just out of no where? Why?
I was escorted back inside, having many unanswered questions.
