"Arabella darling" I stop in my tracks and slowly pivot to face my mother.

" Yes mother" I sigh, I was hoping to sneak out to the stables.

" Where do you think your going young lady?" I open my mouth to speak but she continues,

"And any way where is that delightful boy your father introduced to you yesterday? I really think he could be the one for you darling, his father is extremely wealthy and he is going to be an earl. That would make you a countess darling ..." Luckily at this point I managed to tune out my mothers pathetic whining voice as it rambled on and on about who I should wed and my mind drifted back to last nights kill, which was probably my favourite so far.

After I'd did clout him round the head with a club and pined his limbs down with 4 wooden stakes I started my torture with his fingers, cutting them off slowly. He shouted at me to stop, telling me I couldn't do this to him, well too late, the anger in his voice disguising the pain. I then cut off his toes and I worked my way up his leg. Hacking his right foot off as he screamed like a little girl with the excruciating pain I had caused. I went for his left leg, driving the dagger through the centre bottom of his knee, then sharply tugging left severing the bone again he screamed. Then his hands came next, this was where the pleading started. " Please stop...I'll do anything... You can have anything you want..." He spoke on laboured breath. I lined up the knife with his hand and hoping to cut it with one fell swoop...

"ARABELLA!" I jump a mile, suddenly pulled back into reality. "Answer me or have you not heard a word I have said?"

" Sorry mother I fear I am not quite with it today, I will go see if I can find..." I give her a pointed look.

"Philip darling, though you should really know the name of your soon to be betrothed."

" Well I do now mother, if you will excuse me." And with that I turn in my heals and stalk out if the manor smiling to my myself. Betrothed indeed, well she's in for a shock.
