As I stared out of the old, slightly foggy window above the sink, watching Nadia play with the newest member of our family, Blu (our grey Siberian husky with bright blue eyes), I started to wonder if what happened the other day was real.
In the corner of my eye, I noticed that the dinning room light was flickering. Of course I was freaking out, but I couldn't move. My arms were to heavy to keep up. I was to shocked to even speak. I felt someone or something touch my hair very lightly. Then I felt something like a finger nail gently run across the back of my neck. A force of dark energy hit me from the right side of my body.

I woke up, my head was pounding, my body was aching and my heart was burning like someone had just let go from squeezing it with all their power. I tried with all my strength to get up and onto my feet so I could walk, but all I did was just stumble all over the place, knocking everything down. Shit, now I have to clean it up when I'm "steady". As I basically crawled to the bathroom to get ibuprofen, I reach my hand up to the medicine cabinet, I hit and crack the mirror. Dammit.
As I started to gain my balance back, I made my way to Nadia's room. I opened the door to find her safe and sound, laying in her bed, sleeping. I stared at her for a while, then I looked around her baby blue room. Thinking 'what am I going to do?'.
