YOONGI was in one of the rooms in BigHit's building and taps his pen on the table. He had been in there for hours but he couldn't think of anything. His mind was blank.
Mingzhu had finished her vocal lesson and she decided to speak to Yoongi about something that had been weighing on her mind recently.
She heads to Room 39, knowing that he'd be in there since he practically owns that room. No one else goes in there since it's right at the end of the corridor.
She knocks on the door, hearing Yoongi shout 'come in'.
"What's up?" he asks, clicking his pen and waiting for Mingzhu to speak. He was laid back casually on his chair, at ease with her.
He feels as if she's the only trainee so far that is similar to him and understands him, he likes that he can consider her as a friend.
"I've been thinking about something for a while now so I've come to tell you."
"What is it?"
"I like you. I didn't know if I did at first because I thought it was platonic but I've decided that it's romantic so if you feel the same way, then let's be girl friend and boy friend." she tells him with a straight face as his mouth slightly parts open in shock. He was taken aback on the fact that she was so straight forward with it.
"I-I, uh– what? Can you repeat that?" he stutters awkwardly, sitting straighter in his chair and not knowing what to say because of how sudden it was.
"I've been thinking about something for a while now so I've come to tell you—"
"No not that part, I mean you want us to be girlfriend and boyfriend?" Yoongi repeats and she nods.
"I did my research and that's what happens if two people like each other. So what are your thoughts on me?" she asks and he backs away, overwhelmed at the sudden question before putting an awkward smile on his face.
"I think you're really good at singing and your style is super cool—"
"I didn't ask for your thoughts on my voice." she interrupts sharply as he clears his throat and his cheeks go red in embarrassment.
"I like your hair colour—"
"Thoughts on me."
"Okay, okay fine! I think you're kinda pretty and I like you too?" he blurts out in the spur of the moment and immediately regrets saying it out loud. He closes his eyes in embarrassment before taking a peek to see her have almost no reaction.
