"I LEFT my phone?"Namjoon falls into an awkward silence and steps back from Mingzhu, into the line that the boys were stood in. The whole group, especially Yoongi, shoot annoyed glares at him.
She stands in silence for a bit before opening her mouth and they brace themselves for a rant.
"Oh." she says and shrugs, confusing the members which confuses her.
"Why are you not mad?" Jungkook asks, assuming that she would've hit them by now.. but she hasn't.
"It's not like you guys looked through it or anything so there's no reason to be mad at you when I was the one who left it."
Silence.
"You can't have looked through it. None of you know my password..." she begins, slowly taking her phone out. "Do you?"
She glances at each of the members and stops when it comes to Hoseok. He slightly squeaks when seeing her staring at him and tries to avoid eye contact by looking around the dance room.
She continues staring at him, knowing that he'd crack at any moment now. After all, he is the worst at lying and can't lie to any of the members, especially Mingzhu of all people.
She takes a step towards him as he whimpers and finally bursts.
"Okay fine! I know your password but hear me out before you attack me. Basically, you were watching a YouTube video and I was watching with you too, but you didn't know because I was standing behind you because I was walking past when I saw you watching my favourite youtuber so of course I paused to watch with you, but you didn't know that and you wanted to turn the volume up but you accidentally pressed the lock button instead because your face ID wasn't working because you had a face mask on so you typed in your password and I accidentally saw what you typed and when you left your phone today, Yoongi wanted to unlock it to prank you and ruin your camera roll to annoy you because we all know that you organise your phone neatly, but no one knew the password so then I accidentally told them that I knew your password and I got peer pressured so I accidentally told them. I'm so sorry, I will never tell them your password again eventhough they already know it now."
She slowly nods, not really in the mood to get mad at any of them, and also because there wasn't really a need to anyways.
She unlocks her phone when remembering that her mom had called her in the morning so she checks and slightly winces when seeing a missed call from her. She goes to text her when spotting something wrong.
"Why have I sent a picture of Seokjin to my mom?" she exclaims, her eyes widening as she frantically tries to delete it by tapping on the screen.
All eyes turn to Seokjin, who he, himself, was shocked and his eyes were widened.
"I am so sorry, it was by accident! I had taken a selfie on your phone and I liked the way I looked in it so I wanted to send it to myself but I think that maybe I accidentally sent it to your mom. Mingzhu, I'm so sorry." he apologises but she pays no attention, confused on how phones work and why it won't unsend.
"Even if you do unsend the message, your mom will still see it. It's how iMessage works for some reason." Yoongi tells her and she rolls her eyes, making him look at her with furrowed eyebrows.
"It's not our fault that iMessage doesn't allow you to unsend texts." he mutters as she rolls her eyes again.
"Are you lacking in brain cells? It is your fault. If you guys hadn't been so nosy and tried to unlock my phone in the first place, then this text wouldn't have been sent to my mom."
"Why is it a big deal anyways?" Taehyung asks.
"Yeah, why is it?" Jimin repeats but she doesn't reply and ignores them.
"Mingzhu, are you going to reply or are you going to continue to ignore us?" Seokjin asks.
"Ignore."
"Don't be immature."
She glares at them all.
"Immature? Out of all people, you guys are the ones calling me immature?"
"What is that even supposed to mean?" Yoongi speaks up.
"It means that, firstly, you try and force me to tell you the reason to why I was feeling upset— you guys can't force me. I would've told you when I wanted to but instead, you decide it was best to barge into my room when I wanted some time alone."
"Secondly, even though passwords on phone are made for privacy, you guys try and unlock it whilst I'm not at home."
"Thirdly, you take hundreds of pictures and completely mess up all my albums eventhough you guys know that I put every of my 8,000 pictures in different albums. I always make sure to be helpful and take pictures for you guys whilst taking none of myself, but obviously you don't care enough since you decided to delete some of my pictures too."
"And fourth, you guys read through my private text messages between me and my mom so if it's between me or you guys, I know that I'm not the immature one in this situation."
"Look okay, we did try and unlock your phone and we did take loads of pictures but we didn't read through your messages." Seokjin says, knowing that it'd be better to not tell her otherwise she'd get even more mad and upset. The rest nod, agreeing with him.
"Fifth, you're liars."
"Do you not believe us?" Jimin asks and she sighs.
"You guys take me as an idiot?"
Jungkook is about to nod but Yoongi holds his head back to prevent it.
"Look at the read receipt. I hadn't opened my mom's text from last night and it says that it was read at 11:27am which is after I had left for dance practice."
"That's because Seokjin hyung had sent his selfie so he would have had to open the conversation to send it." Taehyung explains. She rolls her eyes, again.
"He sent it at 11:39. It doesn't take 12 minutes to send one picture. You guys obviously spent the time reading the text messages. I'm not thick. You guys are taking this as a joke but I like my privacy. You guys completely ignored that and obviously lack some decency, so I'll be waiting until you all grow some brain cells or some balls to realise that what you did was wrong."
