Reyn

     Meet Reyn Orceo. A 16-year-old girl from the Philippines. She may be a Filipina, but she is also half-British. Her British blood came from her mother, who is from Bradford, UK. Reyn's mahogany hair, pale skin and chocolate brown eyes can also explain her British ancestry. Reyn was once a happy-go-lucky teenager, but now, she wants to live on her own. She now, hated being young.

     One day, Reyn sat in front of her computer, searching for a nice flat to live in. "Reyn, I have some news. Come downstairs please?" her mother's voice rang from downstairs. Reyn reluctantly got up from her chair and went downstairs. "Yes mum, what is it?" asked Reyn.

     "Reyn, bakit kapag sumasalita ka ng Ingles, ang accent mo gaya sa mama mo?" her dad asked in Filipino. (Reyn, why is your accent like your mother's everytime you speak in English?)

     "Ewan ko ba, daddy. Parang nalaman mo lang na kalahating British ako," answered jokingly. (I don't know, daddy. It's like you just knew I'm half-British.)

     Reyn's mother and father laughed at her joke. "Anyways, love, your Aunt Carmela invited you to live in London with her. She has even arranged for you to study there," her mother announced. Reyn's jaw practically dropped on the floor. "You are going to the airport tomorrow. It's still 12:00pm. So, pack up. Just pack up your wardrobe, necessities and your laptop. We will ship your other things once you have landed. Ok, love?" said Reyn's mother. Reyn nodded and raced upstairs to her room. Then, she started packing.

A few hours later of packing...............................................................................................

     Reyn finished packing at 6:00pm. She felt REALLY hungry. She went downstairs for dinner. Her dinner was tapa, tocino and eggs. A very delicious dinner. It was good for Reyn's last dinner in the Philippines. Once Reyn finished dinner, she went upstairs and went inside her room. She dressed up in her PJs and slept. 'Maybe, I will find a flat in London,' Reyn thought.

The next day..........................................................................................................................

     Reyn woke up early in the morning. She took a bath and dressed up in a One Direction t-shirt, which she got from her cousin; skinny jeans; black boots and a gray beanie. She slung her laptop bag on her shoulder and strolled her large travel bag downstairs. Her parents were up early and Reyn's mum cooked breakfast. It was hasbrown, bacon and egg. After Reyn chowed down her breakfast, she strolled her bag to the car and her dad brought her laptop bag to the car. Reyn and her family went inside the car and drove to the airport.

An hour and a half later............................................................................................................

     They arrived at the airport. Reyn's mum gave her the passport and ticket. Reyn gave her mum and dad a goodbye hug. She slung her laptop bag on her shoulder and strolled her bag to where she will check it in. Then, she waited in the seats, waiting for the people to announce that the plane to London is now boarding.

     "Plane to London, now boarding!" the speaker announced. Reyn got up from her seat and slung her laptop bag on her shoulder. She went to the stewardess and gave the ticket. Reyn made her way to the plane. She went to where the first class seats are. Aunt Carmela happens to be rich. That is why Reyn got first class seats. Reyn sat down in her seat. She took out her laptop from her bag and opened it.

     She turned on her laptop and popped in a DVD about One Direction's tour. Her cousin, Veronica, is a Directioner. Everytime it is Reyn's birthday or it is Christmas, Veronica would always give Reyn 1D merchandise.
