the sun was beginning to set. the chirping of the birds more quiet than before. it was a chilling time.

taehyung and jungkook were laidback on his bed. jungkook's head lay on taehyung's chest, while he rubs his hair; jungkook's hand resting on taehyung's stomach.

very tired from all the crying, they simply just laid there in each other's embraces. it was like home.

jungkook looked up at taehyung, stopping him from rubbing his head, "we're okay now, right.."

there was fear and hope in his eyes. his stomach was tightening praying for a good outcome.

"baby, yes. i told you this five times already." taehyung chuckled.

stop laughing," he whined, "i was just making sure."

"so what do we do now?" taehyung asked.

jungkook smirked. he had something in mind.

"tada! here we are." he smiled.

taehyung stepped out of the car, reading the sign. it's been a while since he had came here.

"do you like it?" jungkook said, twiddling his fingers.

"like it? i love it!" taehyung jumped, "i use to come here all the time with my friends.

jungkook smiles, "well, now you can make new memories here with me."

he intertwined their fingers and started walking towards the building.

"are we gonna play on the same team?" taehyung asked.

jungkook smirked at him, "what would be the fun in that."

they put their stuff in a locker and went to go find an instructor to help them start a game.

"hi, how do we pay to play laser tag?"

"you can pay $10 for 2 games per person or you can do $60 which includes unlimited games, pizza, and arcade coins." she smiled.

taehyung nudged jungkook, "ooo lets do the second one. i'm really hungry."

jungkook smiled at how excited he was. he knew arcades were taehyung's safe place, so he decided to bring him here for a casual date.

"okay," he turned back to the lady, "we'll do the $60 one."

after paying and settling down, they went to go get pizza before they played.

"since we both like the superior pizza topping, i know exactly what to get."

"i knowww, it's been a while since i've had sausage pizza."

jungkook looked at taehyung with a attitude, "umm, i was gonna buy cheese pizza."

"cheese??" taehyung said with a stank face, "oh you're gross."

"now you know cheese is the best, don't front."

"if you eat cheese pizza you might as well be eating some cardboard with square cheese on it."

"aht aht! you just mad because cheese is the default and it's way better than any custom pizza y'all come out with."

"exactly it's a default, boring ass pizza. you can't even make no jokes with your pizza." taehyung said.

"what you talking bout? of course i ca—"

"can i take you on a date ? cause i never sausage a beautiful face before. A HA HA." taehyung did the "we irritating hand" on his face.

jungkook couldn't help but to bust out laughing.

"that was a good one. i'll admit... but cheese is STILL the best."

taehyung shoved him, "whatever loser, it's our turn to order."

"hi, what could i get you, guys?" the waiter asked.

taehyung couldn't help but to see him look jungkook up and down. he didn't like it.

jungkook obliviously smiled, "hi can we get 1 pizza with topping split in half."

"sure. what toppings would you like?" he subtly smiled.

in taehyung's eyes, he was a little too close for comfort.

without doing too much, taehyung spoke up, "we'd like to have sausage and cheese."

the waiter finally brought his attention to him. you could see the fire in his eyes slowly dim.

'that's right,, he's mine." taehyung thought, smugly.

"hey! what's taking so long daddy. i want to hurry and play." a little girl whined from behind them.

jungkook smirked, as he saw the stare down between the waiter and taehyung go down; with the waiter finally looking away, calculating their order.

"your order number is 64 and the total will be 10.9–"

taehyung interrupted, "don't worry about the price, we have unlimited, luv." he shoved the ticket in his face, grabbing jungkook's hand pulling him away.

at this point, jungkook was in hysterics. it was cute to see taehyung get visibly jealous about him. that only showed his true feelings.

"woah there, baby. didn't know you could get so snarky."

taehyung started blushing, he didn't know what had came across him.

"sorry. that was probably so embarrassing." he covered his face.

jungkook took his hands away, "it was actually hot. kinda enjoyed it."

that just made taehyung more red. the adjective hot was always funny to him the way people used it in context. it was like an explicit word to him.

"cmon buster. let's go get some drinks to cool down your strawberry face."

i'm just gonna stop apologizing for being ia and not updating 😭 i just really suck at it bc i get writers block heavy and avoid this book to the fullest. in bad news, it is in fact almost over :((. there's maybe like 3 more chapters left [and for you nasties out there, i will be writing smut ZKDJSKDNEKF]

after this book i'm gonna focus on my other books that i started but put on hiatus for insomnia. i'm on break so my goal is to finish it before i go back to school. i've been seeing all yalls funny comments and i really do appreciate that people find this book enjoyable. thank you sm! ily guys.
