Chapter 15

Sophia's POV
After discovering I had a second mate I decided to walk in the garden. After about five minutes I heard voices. I turned the corner and saw Alex kissing another girl. He must have sensed me because he looked up. I turned and walked away from the scene.
"ARABELLA WAIT!" I heard him call me by my real name but I ignored him. I locked myself in my room. After about an hour of crying I went into the bathroom to take a shower. I looked in the mirror and didn't see the mate mark. That's why we didn't feel it. My wolf said. After seeing this I cried for goddess knows how long. It wasn't until I heard a knock on my door that I realized I'd been locked in my room for hours. I opened the door to see chase standing there with a cast on his leg and crutches.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
  "Yes, I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"No."
With that I shut the door in his face. Unsure of what to do.

Chase's pov
   I just found my mate and she doesn't want to talk to me. I don't know what to do. So I did the only thing I could think of. I went to the goddess.
"Goddess Anna."
"Yes chase."
"I'm not sure what to do. I found my mate but she won't talk to me.  I know she's hurting but I don't know how to help her."
"Who is your mate my child."
"Sophia Claire"
"My daughter is your mate?"
"She's your daughter?"
"Yes. Now let me tell you a little about what is happening and why."
"Okay."
"Sophia's real name is Arabella Mikaelson. She has been hidden from her father who wishes to kill her. With a new name came a new identity and apparently a new mate for her and Justin(I think that was his original name lol). You seem to be her new mate. Alex as well has a new mate their minds still know that they were mates but their wolves don't recognize them as their mate. Sophia's wolf Elle will recognize you as her mate. But you also have to consider that Justin was Arabella mate and they have a child coming. It is up to you if you accept the child as your own or not. But if you do the baby will no longer be Justin's and Arabella's but yours and Sophia's."
"What happens if the spell wears off?"
"Sophia will be your mate no matter what should you chose to accept her. But you have to decide soon. The spell to hide her from her father is permanent you do not have to worry about it wearing off. She is no longer Arabella. She will always and forever more be Sophia"
"Okay"

    After talking to the goddess I felt better but I still needed to think about what I wanted to do. Do I want to father a child that isn't actually mine? While walking to my secret place I bumped into someone. I knew immediately who it was just by the sparks that ignited by her touch.
"Chase can we talk?" She asked me
"Of course."
"I was shocked yesterday I didn't know I would get another mate. But after waking up this morning and thinking about everything. If you'd accept me I'd love to be your mate."
"Honestly Sophia I'm glad to hear that but I need to think. It's not just you and I there's also a baby involved. I need to speak to Alex I guess."
"Oh okay."
With that she walked away from me. Man what am I going to do.
  As I watched my mate walk away looking defeated it dawned on me that I didn't need someone's permission to be with my mate. I ran up to her, grabbed her and kissed her.
"I accept you as my mate. I accept your child as mine."
She looked up at me with the biggest smile on her face. " thank you chase."
With that she hugged me. " Chase, can you come lay down with me I'm very tired. I didn't sleep much last night."
"Of course mate."
I took her to my room and we both fell asleep.

A/N: hey guys so this is that end of this chapter. Sorry I left it like that but I will be updating tomorrow probably to finish the story. Honestly I'm not sure yet. I guess we will see what happens when I start typing.
